Great Reaction! Kristin, you are one of few UA-camrs who actually paid attention to their lyrics while enjoying, killer riffs, drum beats and fast rapping bars. Bloodywood is on fire. This is their debut album. And yes, the Blue Lady is reference to Goddess Kali, she is God of Vengeance. Protector of the innocent and slayer of evil!
Woooo!! This is why I respect BLOODYWOOD!!They are about what is GOOD!! This was so much energy on such a sensitive issue for everyone! Thank-you for your kind words!
Well nilesh you haven’t seen other reactions of this video.. but we can forgive you of that... this is not the few reactioners who paid attention of lyrics and scenery.. there is a lot of them. .
The shot of Kali opening her eyes and staring right at the camera (viewer) is her saying "I see you, and if you don't change your ways, you are MINE." She was known for dancing on the mutilated bodies of demons, tongue coated with their blood, and wearing their skulls as jewelry. She does NOT screw around.
yes according to our scriptures, kali once became so obsessed with killing demons and drinking their blood that she even started killing other gods and causing chaos, then goddess shakti's (kali is an avatar of shakti) husband i.e the almighty lord Shiva had to lay in front of her so that she notices that she's stepped on her lord....she was so drowned in thinking about mutilating demons and drinking their blood that she didn't notice she stepped on Shiva . but when she realised it, she took her tongue out as if she realised her mistake
This is a song of pure rage. I feel especially when Raoul goes "I raise a fist for the nameless faces he disgraces.." and Jayant screams "Rise!" Absolute unfiltered anger.
I made a choice a long time ago. When someone says NO! Then, respect that and no means no! My decisions were made with honor. Something lacking in today's scene.
Always amazing to hear them. Here is a sort of fact...of what I think. Yes, the blue woman looks more like Hindu Goddess Kali! But in a live stream later they said "We just wanted her to be unique-looking". she does not represent any God or does not associate with any religion(Although it seems to be the concept of "Rage of KALI- a Hindu goddess and she is the ultimate expression of Death, Carnage, Change, mother nature. She cuts off the heads of bad people and burns the rest to ashes. Once she gets enraged no God dares to stop her. That is Kali) This was a good decision, but I think they said it now this way because they do want to attract the topic of religion now because it is a sensitive subject in India and religious fanatics will interpret it in another way and it would be bad PR if things go wrong! Do check out more of them.

Kali doesn't just punishes evil. It's much more than that. Kali also represents pure unbridled rage and fury. (Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned) Kali cuts the throats of demons and wears their severed heads around her neck as a garland and drinks their blood. That's why her tongue is blood red in colour
Hi Kristin :) Crazy I'm still watching your videos lol..even if it's something I have no Idea what it is. Your channel is very watchable for lack of better words, gotta pop in once in a while to say kudos on the channel and keep being awesome.

I am so SO excited to see them live this Sept, and especially to listen to this song (and Gaddar) amongst others. This particular topic is one that rarely musicians dare to dive into. Bloodywood jumped right in and sent a powerful message with an extremely powerful song. I am glad you watched this with subtitles, AND most importantly dived into the topic of this song. It's a rare time where I don't mind the breaks because this is an important message that should be heard. Great reaction.
I agree with you wholeheartedly Jonathan 💕 it is an extremely important topic that is something musicians rarely dive into. This shows me the caliber of Bloodywoods character and I for one ☝️ am here for it!
Kristen, I can tell that this is not just a sensitive topic for you, but a hard topic to deal with as well. In my experience, when violence is perpetrated, especially SA and r*pe, violence is needed to stop the violence, whether that is using a gun or another person stepping in. This idea of not using violence to stop evil is more harmful than good. While I believe in ideals, such as altruism, I'm also a realist -- and there are times and places that violence can be used for good. I've never understood the idea of once violence is perpetrated against someone, why violence is somehow bad when used to stop the perpetrator. I've never heard of any victim who has ever said that they didn't want the violence perpetrated against them to stop. I've also never heard of any victim that didn't want justice. In many cases, vengeance. And as I understand it, it is to try and find what little empathy the perpetrator has, and use that to get them to stop. The problem is, what if the perpetrator has no empathy? What then? The only answer at that point is to use violence to stop them -- because nothing else will work. As Sun Tzu says in "The Art of War," "The only way a battle truly ends is to deprive your enemy of the tools he needs to fight with." I take this to include their life, as in that sense, without life, no perpetrator can act. And in that sense, killing a perpetrator is justifiable. And to be crystal-clear, I don't condone needless violence. I am a man of peace. But when peace is not possible, then the only thing you can do is fight. As the military axiom goes, "When in peace, prepare for war." Which means learning and preparing yourself for the very remote possibility that something could happen. It's exactly what many gun owners say: That while they would prefer to never have to shoot someone, they would rather be prepared in case something happens. Because as a realist, I acknowledge the reality that humans are not inherently altruistic. That humans are not nice people. And the only reason that society is the way it is, is because we can afford to be nice to each other. But that doesn't mean that there aren't evil people in the world who want to do evil things. "The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." ~ Edmund Burke, 1775
Kristin, predators do not care. They need to be shown the error of their ways. This song has one solution, I may agree, I do. The actual song is aggressive and awesome, bringing the message to life.
Gosh, that's grim stuff! For a sort of antidote, a more positive view of humanity, try 'Wired to the Moon' by Chris Rea (1984), or 'Crazy World' by Aslan (1993).

"... they just want to put them in therapy..." The fact is, therapy works. Sexual offenders- even pedophiles- who are put in therapy are MUCH less likely to re-offend. So the lyrics, "One day I may change his kind with my mind" are based in reality.
