I especially like that they did Cup and Balls revealing their secret to audience; with how many times Penn and Teller themselves did Cup and Balls with clear plastic cups.
I really love how Penn always has compliments for the acts whether they have fooled him or not. Both a real class act and the joy they have for the art even after all of these years is wonderful.

@@photoprecisevideos Yes, true, and that's what I meant. When I say audience, I mean the TV audience or UA-cam audience (like me). I realize that they didn't have an in-person audience for this season.
what i found most funny is that for a large part of the trick he's actually just doing normal cups and balls things. the only thing that is impossible with typical tricks is placing the fruits under the cups when penn is picking the fruit after the last time you lifted those cups. in his head it must have been "yeah classic cup and balls, good execution and great storytelling" until the final one with the orange, then it's "allright, he can't have placed this orange beforehand so what will he followup with?" and at the exact moment he sees the orange, he's surprised.
You both knew you weren't going to fool them... Shows great sportsmanship and willingness to put yourselves out there. I sincerely hope you guys make it BIG as for being so young still you did amazingly, especially considering the camera's and performing for no less than the gods P&T !!
Really the goal for any aspiring magician shouldn't be to fool P&T, even though the show is called Fool Us. The real aim should be to impress them with showmanship, skill, etc. Even when someone does fool them, it's probably something they could have figured out given another 5 minutes of chatting amongst themselves. They can probably perform 90% of any Fooler's trick on the spot, and trial and error the last 10% pretty quickly. Showmanship and skill are the real keys to success.
I think the boxes was a hail mary. If Penn decided to zero in on someone hiding in a box, they could move the stacked one to show there wasn't anyone in it, but he guessed how they'd actually hidden Kenshin. A great act and you know they loved it.
I love the extra stinger joke of the hiding place at the end. It's the perfect thing to tweak the expectations of anyone familiar with Penn and Teller routines.
The performances where not only are the magicians not even trying to fool Penn and Teller but KNOW they absolutely are not going to fool them are my favorite. The only point is to share something they love with Penn and Teller and they're totally just having fun. The love for their craft just shows
It’s not even just comedy magic, it’s just so lighthearted, uplifting and positive. Like, I feel the warmth of friendship of you two through the screen. That is a very pleasant feeling and something I’ve been missing from magic lately. Makes sense you work in charity
As one half of a comedy duo of magicians, I can say the most amazing thing you've done here is create something unique and original in your presentation. No cliche lines, no typical ideas. You have really taken the concept and made it a great stage act. I look forward to seeing what you do next.
This was classic Penn and Teller - showing everyone the trick. That was such a great and original idea to bring on their show! The best part is that even though you didn't win the trophy I think everyone had a blast watching this performance.
I really love the nodd to Penn and Teller here, this is one of my favourite trick from the show now. And the way you revealed the end was just great, I really didn't notice that you could hide there so easily and I'm more amazed now than if it was kept a secret.
I'm visually impaired, so when the box fell apart, I asked myself "Is Kenshin hiding behind the boxes?". But no, I couldn't see him between the boxes. Then I eventually noticed there was a pile of cloth behind them, and thought "...he can't possibly be hiding under that, can he?". I thought to myself how awkward it would be if after the end everybody in the audience saw him get up and walk off stage right. And then the reveal, just as planned. It's a perfect bit! Penn's "under cover" line just made it even better. Like it was all scripted, but we know P&T don't do that, just icing on the cake. THAT is good comedy, right there.
Penn always choses his words very carefully, As to tell the contestant exactly what they need to know he's figured it out, While keeping the audience guessing.

That was brilliant. Thank you for sharing it with us -- not only was it a great trick but it was a funny one. I'm glad you let Kenshin stand up and take his bows at the end.
Tearing the whole thing down at the end, was great for the audience to have a trick they couldn't quite figure out as well; however I think it hurt the trick. Once teller saw that the big sell at the end was these boxes, and the audience's reaction to them; it becomes quite apparent that they were not there before, calling into question exactly what was there before. It was a thrilling finish, but the wrong one to trick Penn.
If you look very closely at 2:52, there's a flash of a flange bracket pinned to the side of a mast, skeeting across the hopward delivery system that conceals a Taldini Trap across the front of a silk-lined mess-gyro that swings down through a fox-looped trough so that the back section of a finned grate covers the moment when a slatted grub-lattice wraps the Topshift Tourniquet tight enough to side-shift the wrist-blanker at the bottom of the misaligned bucket ledge holding the rough and smooth double-glazed window glass above the long-nosed flint where the finger sprockets fit into the moulded lateral Type Tucker. Either that, or there's someone under the table.
Shows the brilliance of Penn which he routinely underplays. How he smelled the rat by reading Teller's face and put all the pieces together extremely well. Hats off to Penn. Of course this does not take away anything from the two youngsters .
Quite often the magician knows they aren't going to fool them and just want the exposure and a chance to perform for P&T. It also goes the other way as well. Could not stop smiling throughout the whole thing, this was amazing XD
The real truth is, the point of the show isn't to fool Penn and Teller, it's to ENTERTAIN, and these guys did that magnificently.
1:44 i like how he makes sure its okay to walk behind incase theres something that would give away the trick
The fact that he said he was a two man act and proceeds to come out n work alone pretty much gave everything away
They won the real prize Penn and Teller’s Respect.
I loved this trick the whole way through, and it looks like Penn and Teller did too!
I really enjoyed that man, thanks for the laugh and entertainment!
He's the definition of a Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man :D
it was nice to be in on the trick for once. good job and very fun to watch
This was just fun to watch. Loved the whole bit . You guys are great
