After shooting a hinge TruBall HT for years, i tested ,and bought this rGo2 elease. As for some releases we may tend to shoot them well in early stages. I enjoy shooting it as it seems to fit me well with very minimal change to my natural back tension stlye. Time will tell on the long run how it continues to be forgiving and consistent compared to the HT.
However, my D loop started fraying in the first 3 days of shooting. Noticed 4 sharp corner edges surrounding the stainless steel D loop hook. It concerned me as it did my para Olympic shooter friend noticed as well.
Gave Tru Ball a heads up on this if i may have a flawed release or at lease a solution without voiding warranty if i were to round off the edges . The response came as i needed to change my 2 week old BCY 24 D loop.
material. That i did, and now we shall see .if no success, maybe change to BCY 23 D loop material.

I have one of these. It's fantastic as a pinky release, and awkward as hell as an index finger release.

Looked that way when PJ using it. Can't imagine it gives a reliable anchor point.

An index finger release on a handle is infinitely stupid. The tendon of the index finger runs through the tendon of the thumb in the wrist. Tension in the hand automatically results in tension on the index finger.

This reminds me of the old Carter “Same Old Thing” and “Hole Thing” releases.

Carter 1st choice is my first choice.

The GO2 as a pinky release is an interesting concept but the implementation of the whole release is less good.
The weight is good and the feeling during pulling is comfortable.
But the trigger for the pinky is on a strange position and triggers differently dependent whether the pressure is more on the edge. The option for index finger is overall uncomfortable during pulling and execution. If you move your index finger in anchor you change it at the same time unless you manage to anchor like a wrist strap release.
You need 3 different hex keys to configure the release - none is delivered with it.
Be carefull with the screws. The one for the thumb rest on my release lost his grip already and I don’t trust the other screws for trigger settings either.
The hook for the loop seems to be on the wrong side and the closing is more unusual in my opinion.
It’s a release for a very high price and does not constitute a recommendation by me.

the idea of tension or thumb is to avoid punching with trigger finger. this seems like a gimmmick?? who knows

You can punch any release. This seems like a good idea actually

I like the video but I pass on the release. It won't work well with my crossbow. 😉😉
