Fun to see Penn Badgley and Chad Michael Murray dominate this list
I know right?! They play after each other too coincidentally literally. Lol
Since I'm more accustomed to seeing Penn Badgley as a seemingly charming serial killer, it's almost a surprise to learn that he portrayed genuinely nice guys like Woodchuck Todd or Scott Tucker.
This is why most of us are attracted to the serial killer role. We have all this other stuff in our brains getting all muttled together with it.
This was the Penn Badgley I grew up watching so in You, it took me a while to accept those characters are played by the same actor.
But he was also Gossip Girl the whole time! I don't know whether he's good or not 😂
Don't forget Bianca and Weasley from "The Duff". Despite what issues they had with each other; these two would definitely still be together today. Especially since they both gave Maddie the kiss off she deserved when she tried to ruin their relationship, and their friendship before they got together.

I always liked that Jake fell for Anna's spirit first, not her appearance, showing that their connection was based on more than looks. He also seemed like a stellar guy, and the romantic in me likes to think that he and Anna managed to make things work.

Ah yes, honorable mention goes to the horribly creepy, stalkerish and controlling Edward and "my entire personality revolves around my SO" Bella. A totally healthy relationship foundation.
Those books were all the rage when my younger sister was 11 years old and even she could already tell Edward and Jacob were both creepy AF. lol
While I loved both when I was around the same age, I really liked Jasper and Alice more than them 🤣
To be honest all of 10 is based realitionship on lies and fraud so all 10 is toxic…

Save the last dance? Really? Sarah and Derek are cute but they're not forever. He came into her life when she needed it most to push her to live her life. They will find someone else and be happy with them and I'd say they're still friends. Derek is awesome like that he was mature because he had to be she was spoiled and needed to grow up. He definitely out grew her in a couple way. Better as friends imo

Just started and I already disagree. Austin Aims kinda sucks. I've never seen a Chad Michael Murray character that was actually a good match for someone... Which apparently has lead into the next couple on this list.

Todd kind of saw what happened and gave her a ride home, and he told her he knew exactly what she was doing, and, "If I promise not to tell anyone, can I kiss you right now?" 🚩🚩🚩
He wasn't trying to blackmail her just trying to meet her where she was. He accepted her answer just fine when she said no.

Easy A Penn was the hottest Penn.
Not a great list. Too many repeat actors. Jake and Anna were too high. Didn't like the inclusion of adult couples, like I love Matty and Jenna but they literally got married at the end of the movie. Peter and Lara Jean should have been higher.

To be honest, I don't feel ANY of those couples would still be together. Most of them lacked friendship to found a longer relationship on - and it takes 6 to 8 months to even take the bond into the bond area of the brain, before that the part of the brain that lights up is the one where OCD and other mental illnesses take place. And the one that has that, Lara Jean and Peter, ... they're drama queens, both of them. Unless they're actually addicted to drama and need it for happiness, they would probably sooner or later fall for someone who can keep them steady and bring peace into their lives instead of living under constant stress.
And then there's always the problem of most of them still being teens. Not only do teen relationships rarely lead to a life with each other, they're also not done with developing their own identity yet. So, it's really hard to tell if they wouldn't even grow apart for the simple reason of them maturing. Not to mention all the shit life can still throw at them, that can destroy even the best relationship.
So ... maybe I'm too much of a pessimist, but ... No. I don't really think any of those couples are still together. (Except maybe that with Matthew Perry as they already had YEARS and years to build on and got their wake-up call in time.)
