Actually happened to me many years ago. A female FBI agent and I were faking an affair in order for me to secretly transmit intel from an informer inside a crooked sheriff's department. Before long, our fake making out in a restaurant parking lot became the real thing. She couldn't marry because of being covert, but our secret lovers relationship continued for 14 years, until she was killed in the line of duty. Sorry, this story didn't have a happy ending.
