Layered Art Using a Laser Cutter / Engraver

You can do so many things with a laser engraver. A good way to start is learning how to do layered art. Mix and match media like wood, foam, card stock, acrylic, vinyl etc...do something nobody has done!

I've purchased a template very similar to this from etsy. I can not figure out how to separate one layer from the group of 8 layers. I'm using lightburn. I've tried to right click on the layer I want to work on but it only does the border not the entire layer. Any suggestions would be so appreciated. Thanks for your help!!!

You should be able to pick a spot near the middle where each layer is different, then pull them out one by one. I don't think all my layers were together when I got mine.

Great video, more of this, combined with glass and lights would be cool, epoxy makes everything better too. Tutorials explaining how to generate the art, how to take an existing image and break it into layers.
