I thought the professional players of this game knew how to blend in perfectly with the crowd, knew how the AI behaved on what trajectory they walked, to recognize players if they made the tiniest slip-up. I thought the pro players knew the maps so well that they would recognize any mimic who did not fit well enough into the interior. But in reality, a pro player is someone who just speedruns, jumping around like a monkey all over the map. In a way, this video made me disillusioned with the game and its skill cap. The developers wanted to make a stealth game about spies, but it turned out to be a mix of trackmania and call of duty.
The devs said it was an FPS first, and a stealth game second. That said, I'm just playing to Ace's strengths. With Ace, you really really want to be mobile, break line of sight, etc. If I'm trying to blend in, and someone catches me, I'm pretty much forced to take a very very disadvantageous fight, like a 10% w/get away-90% loss/death. If I'm running around and someone shoots me, I have a much much better fight because more than likely I'm halfway across the room by then. More like 40-60: still not favorable, but at least I have options. If you compare this to someone like Chavez who can just drop their fortress, Squire who has their 2s damage reduc, or Larcin that can just stealth, they have a much higher chance of surviving a backstab. I just don't want to risk it. So the problem is you're looking at the most extreme of extreme extremely agro- even other cracked Ace mains I know don't play like me.
I just got her to level 10 recently, and I actually thought blending in was necessary for the problem you just established. You ALWAYS want to get the first shot against your enemy (I know that applies to everyone, but especially on her) and in my mind, the only way to archive that was to blend in as much as possible. I don't know if "Deceiving your enemy" should be the number 1 mechanic in a game called "Deceive Inc", but hey, if the devs said this is a shooter then this is a shooter Lol (Sorry for bad English btw)
The devs also said they want to punish this type of gameplay with the heat system and making it more disadvantageous to just run and gun. Personally I’m with Jew on this one, I think this game should be stealth first and shooting second, but as is rn it’s just a spy themed call of duty
You seem to sometimes choose to run from a fight. Also, when you have the package, you make sure to engage at distance, where Ace has the advantage. I really like seeing this style of play! Shooting a target (thereby breaking their cover) from a distance and then leaving exposes them to npc guards and other players. Great stuff, please keep it up!

@@catgirlcatgirlcatgirl Are you experiencing performance issues recently? There are a lot of pc players including me (3070ti) having crazy fps drops despite using dx12.
I know this is an older vid so not sure if you remember, but how did you know it was red at 35:00 mark? She was standing still didn’t seem to be acting weird
I had no idea she was a spy I committed to killing every guard in that room and surprise! She was a spy. If I knew she was a spy I would 1000 have shot faster than I did after the melee. Or I would have just shot her.
I rarely scope in and I find scoping in => e2 reliable. 99% of my expertise is after I get the first shot off. But also because there's no other alternatives. If I'm scoped, I'd rather hit them for 30 more damage than put a slow on them (so I can shoot them again 2 seconds later?)
Teams is a little bit too deathmatchy for me. Originally I didn't like it cos if you died twice you had to watch your friend for 15 minutes But now I don't really want to try it cos the body camping. I heard corpse camping was at an all time high and that doesn't sound very fun to me. I just wanna go fast.
The average player will have a 10-12% win rate in solos, and a 25-30% win rate in teams. In that sense, you're looking at a game with a 10% win rate, so yeah it's very hard. As for actually playing the game, it's not the hardest FPS I've played and it has a lot of ways you can kind of narrow the skill gap if you're not the best at FPSes. I think brain plays a very big part of it. It's fun. I'd say buy it on steam and if you don't like it, just return it within 2 hours. Just remember to focus on what you find fun. Use it as a learning experience. Don't beat yourself up over dying- you're statistically most likely going to die in 9/10 of your matches.
I expected the high skill of this game to be unique compared to other games, y'know, stealth and all. If i wanted to see people shooting each other without rhyme or reason i would watch Call of Duty or CSGO.

Whenever I play different games, I like skill match-up charictors, so seeing this Ace gameplay is making me want to play the game more!
wait... does Ace have a hipfire accuracy debuff when not ADS'ing? if not she's a monster.
She doesn't have an accuracy debuff
Im second coment got recomendation becaue of JFJ sub
Your gameplay is fun to watch 😊
Easily one of the best Aces in the game. Whenever i see Catgirl in the lobby i just hope i reach infiltration
Besides Ace, what is your top 3 favourite agents to play? Or do you only play Ace tho
I played a bit of Red and I liked her.
Before Red I dabbled with Xiu and Cav but I don't really like them.

It's worse than before. I've noticed it dips below 60 on diamond spire, but it seems like the other maps I can still get a stable 90ish.
they never stood a chance!
Ace is easily my worst character, so these games are inspiring and educational to say the least. Thank you!
Ace는 3번째 무기의 재장전시간을 약간 더 늘릴 필요가 있다고 생각합니다.

Dude this is some risky gameplay. Im amazed how u don't die sometimes
My defense is being around the less risky parts of the map!
Literally just killed me in a game rn gg
I’ve always wondered is this fun? I’m almost thankful I suck because this kinda looks like a chore but maybe I’m a spurg
I mean yeah- if it wasn't fun I wouldn't be playing it :) Silly.
I don't think you're a spurg. Different people find different things fun.
Catgirl Catgirl
what camo is that
When you hit level 300 you get a ruby red one that looks like a mixture of red+diamond.
Why use Ace's p1 AND her e2? Isn't that too much damage? You'll kill most targets in 2 shots with either one
