I’ve been to the Church that was being demolished. It has the Lavra underneath it where many saints are interred.
These are the types of things I pray to understand how we can forgive.

Met. Onuphry (the legit boss) always struck me as a saintly man, firmly in the tradition of the saints of Kyiv, Carpathi-Rus, and Russia proper. His homilies and epistles.
At the start of the war, some guy on UA-cam (lost the track of that person unfortunately, I can't find it anymore), a Romanian, said that is a prophecy made by an Ukrainian monk in which he said that the day they (Ukraine) will turn against the the power in the East, Ukraine will dissapear as a country.

I something recently with Ukrainian priests begging Patriarch Bartholomew to intervene, because of the persecution they were suffering. It clearly fell on deaf ears.
Loosing the cathedral in Istambul to Muslims shows how low Bartholomew's faith is.

@semyaza555 you should look up the original version by The Four Lads from 1953. When the They Might Be Giants version came out, my Grandmother knew all the words, blowing my mind at first, until I realized it was a cover of an older song.

The parish on 18th Ave is all Slavonic; as are all the others in your area.
You can try St Mary’s Antiochian in Bay Ridge on 81st and Ridge or Saint Nicholas downtown Brooklyn.
