I’m going out on Saturday and Sunday this weekend, the water temp should be fine if it was 59.7 the day y’all went out. Should be decent 🤞🤞 awesome vid though!

Hate to be the one to tell you, but the water is warm again (68-70) last time I was there which was 4 days ago lol. & heard A lot of fish really aren’t in there anymore, this season has been the weirdest one yet. But things could change by this weekend 100%! You never know with kings!

Do you have a bobber stopper before the float to fish deep? Cause for river float fishing you had to have one. I’m just curious? Never float fish using a unite before lol

Yea bobber stop, then the bobber, then my leader and I’ll adjust depth depending where I’m fishing at or where the fish are coming in at!

McGrath Fishing is the first time I saw one video of yours, I think you are pro fisherman so of you are a pro fisherman, why you try to reel in meanwhile the fish is taking out line? you should know by the experience you already have that if you reel in meanwhile the fish is taking line you are not doing nothing nothing, let the fish run and if you loose it is because you are not usng the right setup

You have to with kings especially in tight quarters. If you’re out in the open with nothing to break off on then id let it run as normal. But for king salmon in the harbors you have to or else I would’ve lost this fish on pillars, boats, other peoples line etc. so in this situation, reeling against the drag is the correct move here also known as stopping it from running! If you loosen your drag, it will just keep running and eventually come off on something like I said above!Appreciate you checking out the video and the compliment! 👍🏽
