Mine face is clear and glowing and free from acne by following some simple things. I stopped having spicy food. Got more water. Decreased stress. Stopped using lifts and started climbing stairs in its place. I actually started using the super gentle face wash from littleexttra called riiceberry. It really is really the only one that works well for me and do not strip my skin. That definitely adds to the actual overall hydration of mine skin.

I've tried this rice berry face wash before and in my opinion, it's one of the top face washes I've ever used. The face wash cleans dirt and excess oils from skin and does not dehydrate skin. The reason behind it produces less lather is that they do not use any type of detergent to generate additional foam similar to other brands.

I do wanna warn to be careful of getting coffee grounds down your drain. It isn't good for the plumbing. I am not saying not to do this, just making note of it. I don't think the amount used for a face mask will be a problem, but if you're worried, maybe wash it off with a container of water and either dump that water outside or flush it down the toilet afterwards. I just know that sink plumbing can't handle coffee grounds too well and that you should be careful.

The coffee-honey mix is gentler. Coffee acts as a scrub or exfoliator, but using it alone is too rough on the skin, plus it goes all over the place. The honey helps you moisturize and avoid the scratches that the coffee scrub will do to your face, leaving it glowing and moisturized.
But if you mean you use an alternative for honey, like maple syrup, the effect should be the same. Other combos have different effects depending on what the ingredients are.

You can, but used coffee grounds are more practical. There should be more than enough caffeine there that your face needs and can absorb. As for me tho, I don't drink coffee so I buy coffee grounds exclusively for my skincare 🥲🥲
