I’m sorry you were disappointed, Jancis. But I did enjoy the video and I think Nova is just lovely. You and Lucy crack me up and I love the fact that you aren’t silly and squealing on your videos like some of the eventers I watch. Enjoy your winter training and I know you’ll have a great season in 2025! ❤❤😊
I find it's the nice horses that I find new homes for and the interesting horses stay with me. My aspirational goal is also 2* but not 2025. It'll have to be reasonably soon because I'm sixty. Sadly, I have a nasty suspicion that I might just end up doing a bit of show jumping. The head gear my current horse needs is allowed for show jumping but not for eventing. The content is always good. Good morning from Australia 🌏🦘.
There was (is) a Jancis something-or-other, I think she was a wine expert or something IIRC she'd long blonde hair and wore big red specs. I cannot wait to see the new hat and jacket!
I think you need to do something totally different! 😅😅 Something really scary horsey...... So that you can appriciate even the grey days! 😅😅 4 foults in the jump-off is actually quite good!!! ❤❤ Love your chatting though!!!
Sjing it’s a bit more black and white, have a pole and you are out. Jancis and I have VERY different expectations Sjing. Mine is to get round alive, Jancis wants clears and cash!
@theeventingjourney232 can absolutely relate to the cash bit...... 😅😅 Horses are expesive! But I guess I'm more like you..... Had some really hot ones and staying in the ring was always main priority!!! 😂😂
Do not shoot me down. Do you think if the 2nd round had been ridden identical to the 1st round, ie slower approach with focus being on centre of the jump with both shoulders level then he would not have dropped the pole. But having said that, his capability is at least 1:40 so was he being lazy?
No, you are completely right, and I should have got a true canter at least, but sometimes he needs to jump on the angle and we shouldn’t get found out by something so small and simple (he turned himself inside out in the warm up to clear a much bigger upright on a much tighter angle, but isn’t that always the way?!)
@ Lovely response ❤️. Do you feel he “plays” as lower level after a while? If that is the case then engaging in his boredom at lower level well that will just teach him its ok to be sloppy at higher levels. Basically, he has the breeding to high jump. So playing around below his scope will always lead to failure. Oooops. Sorry.
@@Golden1989-days I think it probably is too far within his comfort zone and he's in danger of getting a bit casual. It's nice to give them some easier rounds too and he has always tried hard at every height, but I think this is our signal to move back up!
Love the vlog and the laughs and learning💚☘️🐴💚☘️🐴
Thanks so much

Love the down to earth attitudes!. Your friendship shines x only 5 minutes in
Always keeping it real 😂
You two are just a hoot to watch. Love you both ❤
Thank you!!
You guys rock!!! Like others have said I always appreciate the down to earth attitude! Nova is a wonderful jumper and I love the tweed😃
Thanks we just try to stay true to ourselves which is pretty dry in humour and a bit dull in personality!
@@eventingjourney232 I don’t think dull at all! Love it!!

Good morning to you too 😃 Showjumping over here is a lot cheaper and easier logistically, it just doesn’t hold that same adrenaline buzz 🫣
😂 bummer re pole , you 2 always make me chuckle 😂
I think we are getting better at being ourselves on camera
Very entertaining as always, thank you! Can't wait for the next ones :)
Glad you like them!
