If I need to level up, 2 weeks with IB is ok. I will be able to stretch it out, and don't play so much for such a short time (I have a full time job). If I'm max level I don't play IB at all, unless there a weapon or something else I want to have.

Pc players have an option to turn the friend notifications off. It's under social at the very bottom and the text is blank but you can see the arrows. Just press the arrow once and it's off. This option doesn't exist for console players unfortunately
I always Friend them so I can track them down later to report them. I use In Game but then report them via Bungie website as well. Been getting confirmations from Bungie once per week lately.

What is he talking about 70 blast radius one shotting on a GL ? I use proxy nades on my pvp GL and it one shots with 40 blast radius.
He's saying you gotta have under 70 blast radius for nade launchers to one shot, it's weird but having more blast radius on a GL means you do less damage and GLs caught a slight nerf a while back iirc which in turn made it so you had to have 70 blast radius or lower to one shot.

Higher blast radius means more explosion damage and less direct impact damage. 70 blast radius is the point where you hit 230 damage on the explosion, allowing them to one shot all resilience without direct impacting. Unfortunately, this isn’t possible using proximity grenades, even with a perfect adept cataphract which hits 65 blast radius, for 228 damage on the explosion. You have to utilise explosive light to make proximity grenades 1 shot consistently. All grenade launchers will one shot on direct hits regardless of stats however.

I like the two weeks of IB only because the weekly challenges that boost reputation carry over the two weeks.
When it was one week you had to wait until Friday to access the challenge to get the max rep multiplier then grind until the weekly reset. With the two weeks I could play more relaxed over 11 days and not concentrate all my grind in 4 days.

Why can’t they just do trials for 10 days instead of 2 straight weeks. Start it at a Tuesday reset, go through until the following Tuesday and then those three days until Friday reset and bring trials back then. That way it isn’t 2 weekends in a row without trials.
