People that have never been rear ended or in an accident never really get it and often are like “ohhh of course you hurt now wink wink”. Nah. The adrenaline is so high you usually don’t even notice anything til 12-24 hours later. I’m glad you and palm are good overall!
That was a scary situation for me. I’m glad you didn’t have any more injuries when you did in your dog is OK. I missed watching your videos and glad you’re back. Rest up get better take the best care of you. God loves you.

You need a heal day. Definitely see your chiropractor! Thank you for this video it shows a realistic view on the challenges of drivers otr. I think sometime ppl forget how dangerous and sometimes inconvenient it can be.
I just started watching you and am glad you and the dog are okay. You handled yourself professionally. I will keep tabs on you. As a retired firefighter on disability with just having my 6th back surgery I can realte to the pain. Be Safe!
I've been in your situation your back pain will last about a week and a half. Chest paint about a month. Glad you and the pup are okay. Light stretching will help
The Respect and Admiration I have for you Girl. How you held yourself and pushed through the anxiety. I hope your okay and glad you were looked at. Because rear end crashes are thee worst. Because everything is being pushed forward. My thoughts and prayers are with you and puppy Lou.....😢❤😢❤. Your a warrior girl pushing through the pain
Sorry to hear that you were in a accident, unfortunately that's part of our job as a truck driver. Take care of your self and your baby(dog) and it's always when your far from home, hang in there and and keep being safe. ✌️✌️🙏🙏🙏
Originally from LA. Living in New Mexico. Been for almost 20 years now. Same thing. I love it out here. My second hike from cali. Love trucking. I think it’s the FRESH AIR that get most people. I know it hits me everyday. Love it.
You are liking your company and doing good and then the accident occurs. Get well fast. You are inspiring many of us, and we are learning from your journey. My test is Monday at the DMV. I'm getting closer to being a truck driver. I'm glad to be a subscriber to your channel. Thanks for sharing.
hey nia&pom 🙌 i'm attempting to watch all your videos and obviously seen more recent footage - but for what its worth - i am happy that you and co-pilot pom are ok 🌻 safe travels for you both 🚚🦴
Damn that's the worst that's why I hate driving in the winter time. You could be doing everything right and somebody else's mistake could ruin your day. I hope you're ok though Nia🙏🏽
Thank you for getting checked out pain can show up many days later. in traumatic events your brain will try to protect you so having so missing parts is part of that I went thru this years ago I missed 6 weeks of work. Thank You God Bless
Man I love this girl her you inspire me to be a truck driver I am currently 20 I turn 21 in a few days I am going to kllm when I turn 21 wish me luck 🍀
Usually after a car accident your body will be sore. Your body took most of the force from the guy hitting you. I'm glad y'all are ok. Take care and be safe
Very professional of you after your accident to get yourself checked out in the hospital. That which does not kill you can only make you stronger 💪 Best thing to do now is maintain your work ethic and standards and try to put it all behind you. Just another day on the road❤
Sorry this happened to you. Glad you're ok. It was his fault, don't worry, get better. A lot of shit happens on the road. What matters is you and your dog are ok. Tomorrow is another day. Welcome to California.
Sorry that happened to you. Last month my co-driver fell asleep while I was in the sleeper berth and drove down a 25ft slope and into trees. I’m lucky to be alive. Accidents are always scary. Go to the doctor and don’t drive until you are 100%. Thanks for sharing.
I’m new to your channel I love your videos thank you for sharing I’m glad that you and the dog are okay and I’m in the process of getting a CDL but thank you for sharing.
-If it's in the muscle it would be a strain. A sprain occurs when you stretch a ligament attached to a joint. See if you can find an orthopedic massage therapist or someone who does therapeutic massage. They can help with your stiffness and alleviate some of your discomfort.
BigrigTravels just had to get a radiator repair or replace from a rock wedged in between the frame and radiator yes causes many what happen so keep and eye when checking engine oil. Love your personality, God Bless Safe Travels.
Hate you got rear ended. Hopefully you will be feeling better soon! Know you ready to get back to work. I discovered your channel few weeks ago. Safe travels!
Dang, sorry hear about that hope you’re okay and you’re a strong woman and pray that God cover you and protect you from harm and danger and safe travels 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Cyclobenzaprine, flexeril is a muscle relaxer, not an opioid. Check with safety and take it. Chiropractor YES ASAP. I was and still am worried about you. I'm a retired firefighter and currently I'm a tanker yanker. I've been injured many times. You need to utilize the muscle relaxer so that you can heal. Good Luck God Bless.
Thank god your okay. Maybe you should call a lawyer and talk with them get some advice on what you should do. God Bless you and your dog hope you feel better.
Glad you’re ok Nia, love your content. I listen to you while I drive also. Very calming. And I don’t know why but every time a KLLM truck pass by I have to see if it’s you…. Lol
Hopefully ur ok please be safe out there. Sometimes things get tough for us on the road. If ur not feeling well on the road try to go to nearest hospital as soon as possible
So glad you are OK. Am also glad that you are working through the discomfort and not just playing the victim and saying I'm not going to work for awhile, ya know milking it 😅 just listen to your body, it will tell you what you can and can't do ❤
The 20 years I did that job, I preferred the west to the east. My company began to ship trailers by rail west in 1996. I spent the remainder of my time on th3 east coast, running from Baltimore to Georgia or points farther west, no farther than Ft. Worth. That is where the rail ramp is. I have been watching you and others like you, and have suddenly become motivated. I still have my CDL. I will buy a Volvo and sign on with Landstar. Thank you for motivating me to leave a factory job that I never loved. I would love to smell sagebrush in New Mexico again, going west.
Oh wow, I'm glad you and Pom are okay. I hope everything works out with your back. Ive had a bad back since I was 18 from a sports injury. Safe travels...🚛
Hey, I hope you get better soon. I knew after a few days you would really feel it. Take a rest and get some In and Out. That is a california staple. get to the beach area and get the cooler weather. That 114 plus hot weather has to suck.
This happens way to much these days !! Everyone is driving too fast and following too close and not paying attention!! Wake up people Life is precious!!
Yo Nia, I’m so glad that you and Pom are ok and I’m sorry that accident happened to y’all. That other driver got what he deserved that citation for costing the accident by messing with that phone and following too close what a stupid A I he was. You take care of yourself, do what the doctor tells you to do and I’ll be praying 🙏 for you. God be with you.
Hope that your ok. Just started following your videos, thanks for all the information it's greatly appreciated. I'm looking for a training school but I do have 3 red lights on my driver record
One of the most important things after an “accident” is to take as many photos as possible as soon after the incident as possible. Photos of the trucks, the traffic, the other driver (especially if he or she is still in the drivers seat), surrounding area and the road surface to show brake marks or lack of brake marks. So many details of the accident will change between the hit and eventual insurance court case.
We all have some kind of bump in our careers. The amount of miles we cover everyday. Good thing is that no one is injured. It's just annoying when you loose time what you don't have spare. Keep up the good work. Howard (UK 🇬🇧)
Nia, try to find yourself one of those long skinny metal fifth wheel handle’s with a hook on the end that you can pull your fifth wheel at any truck stop, that way you don’t have to stretch so much trying to pull that short fifth wheel handle and possibly getting some grease on your arm or clothes, it’ll save you some time.
such a bummer. Hope you are feeling better soon so you can at least enjoy yourself here in Cali. Too bad your stuck up in the high desert and not down near the beach somewhere. I mean if your here in Socal the coast is where ya would want to be. Stay cool and get better girly. Stay safe!
OMG Nia hope it all works out. Gotta give it time. You'll be back steering and gearing (?) soonest. Had to laugh though your pup on the walk knew where it was cooler in the shade and tried to get you to stop...nope. BTW isnt NAFTA great...
Someone ramming into you from behind when you are stopped is crazy. That guy shouldn't have a license, imagine how badly he could have hurt someone if he had rear ended a regular vehicle. Glad you and dog are okay.
I hope you feel so much better sorry for that to happen to you I hate to see something like that happen love to you and keep on going you're strong lady❤
Make sure you get an attorney to represent you for your accident. Don't know what state you were in ... I'm guessing Nevada, but if you get treatment keep records of your pain level 1 to 10. Stay safe driver and stay blessed!
Holy Moly, that's crazy that you were hit like that. The other driver was most definitely distracted, there's no excuse for them to run into anybody at speed otherwise. As for your injuries, you may have soft tissue damage in your back, as well. It sometimes takes a few days for all symptoms to present. The cyclobenzaprine that you mentioned is a muscle relaxer, it'll help with the spasms in your neck and back, etc. The high dose ibuprofen will definitely help with inflammation and pain. The pain meds, I agree...I'd avoid them if possible. I was rear-ended in a car once and similar injuries, not as severe, took several weeks to heal. I was able to work/drive during that time, but was on light-duty. I hope that your injuries are not too severe, that your symptoms subside and that you don't have to miss much work. Take Care, Nia!
Respect to you for handling your anxiety and calming yourself down, it's not always easy and Pom was understandably scared. But y'all stuck it out
@@ckfpv what's wrong with that, extra income in her pockets, the lives were to setup for the video
Yeah she handled it well and professionally and I’m glad she and Pom are alright. What a Ass Idiot that other driver was!
