hunter nice to see you here!!! i just bought my first sony + this lens last night so i was looking up videos on the lens to get me excited :) great video
Great video that covers this lens! I was looking to purchase my first 24-70mm lens and you convinced me this is the one for my Sony system! Thank you for this video.
I wish all lenses had the declickable aperture ring that this one has. This reminds me of the old Sigma 18-35mm I got maybe 10 years ago as my first non-kit lens purchase. Their Art series has always been a threat to OEM lenses and I genuinely wonder why anyone would pick the Sony G Master over something with a higher value proposition like this at this point.
Agreed, I had all Sony lenses at once time and one sigma lens and would typically keep the sigma and phased out of it as I traded them! Thanks for watching man 🙏🏼
Fantastic video, Hunter. This lens looks amazing... i still remember the days when Tamron and Sigma put out garbage... and now they lead the pack in some instances!
Hello, I also love Sigma Art lenses. I have been using Nikon flagship cameras, since the late 1980s, but, always used two lens brands, Nikon and Sigma. Currently, I own 19 lenses, 10 are Sigma Art. Since mirrorless, I I use megadaptor adaptors, since they re-introduced aperture rings, I have stocked up with up to date releases. Aperture rings, are a photographic must for my ultra fulfilment, as I enjoy taking pictures as much as the end results. Only just seen your channel, I have subscribed and think it’s great! Thank you …… TonyH
19 lenses is absolutely amazing, I wouldn’t know what to do with so much. I agree with aperture ring comment, it’s such an easier way to use a camera and feels like it’s supposed to. Thanks for the sub 🙏🏼
Does it lose focus while zoom racking in video? Its kinda my style of shooting and its something that the og 24-70 dont suffer from.. I really love to zoom in camera while shooting doc work to emphasize a certain topic or subject ;)
Amazing! Do you know if it works with Sony's steady shot automatically, or do you need to input the focal length manually to use steady shot? (Particularly when using with the Sony a7IV)
Compared to the original Sony 24-70 GM how much better is this one? I’m looking to buy a 24-70 and found the original 24-70 GM at the same price as the New Sigma 24-70. Which one would you recommend?
You can program the camera to use them as functions like Eye AF or White Balance, anything you can think of really. It’s in the camera menu under customize buttons
Idk that’s hard to decide. Depends on if you like the faster lenses. I mean you cannot beat the versatility of this but you should check out the 28-45mm f/1.8 I just did a video on it. I’m getting rid of 3 of my lenses for it.
the first lens i got for my sony was the og 24-70, it's an amazing lens and it looks like it's only gotten better w this new version! great video, really love those wedding photos
I just can’t wait until Sigma starts coming out with the RF line up. That autofocus and sharpness on this lens has me mind blown
The only reason I have not switched to Canon is because of that. TBH the longer they wait the less I care and may not go at all.
In your dreams. Stay happy with the exorbitant prices tags by cunun.

@@richie_phantom I’m so glad I could help you, thanks so much for watching
Even ur ad placements are creative gdi… Lol great video as always dude
Thank you so much, I actually stole that trick from Gerald Undone (cannot take credit for that)
yeah, this is a must have. Take my money sigma! Great review!
Thanks man, I am going to get one for sure.
Sweet samples. Just picked up the tamron 28-75 at a budget but man that sigma though
I was just saying "I need to try a Tamron lens" and see how they stack up. Thanks for watching!

You know, I have never tried a Tamron as tempted as I have been. No way they're better than Sigma... right?
@@hunterhart1 nah, but just as good in some cases!
Great video! One of my favorite lenses is their 18-36. I currently don’t have any Signa lenses in my lineup.
Oh, and always, fantastic images!
We need to get you a Sony and a Sigma Wes
I love my RF 24-70 2.8 on my Canon. Such a versatile lens. It’s my most used by far.
Canon needs to go ahead and let Sigma in

@@loudmotion5639 do you mean lose focus with autofocus or manual focus?
I don't mind a little vignetting😅 sometimes it gives it a certain look on the image
I am the same way, but some people dislike it so I had to make the point. Thank you so much for watching!

@@christiannikodemus it uses image stabilization, I never had to turn anything on or off. Just worked like any other lens by Sony

Great vid, thanks man. Really helpful to me

Great review. Am I missing the link? I can't see it!
I am not sure what happened, hopefully it is working now
Photos are always so 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks man!
Forgive the dumb question as I’ve never had a lens with buttons. How do you make use of the buttons?

Im in the middle of to buy this sigma 24-70 mark 2 or sony 24-70 GM 2?
Can you please suggest me which ones better, is price difference worth? Ty
@@damdai1445 I’d personally go Sigma but I love sigma lenses. I have the G 24-70 and regret purchasing it over the sigma
Which Sony body you are using on this video?
@@ischinitomoreno a7iii thanks for watching

does sigma color tend to warmer than sony?
Slightly yes, I think it’s due to the contrast of the lens
Great, Does active steady shot work on this lens ?
It doesn’t have stabilization
Best Review!!!! Thanks Bro
Dannggggg thank you so much!!
Do you think it's better than Sony's GMII?
I think you couldn’t tell a difference
Great review with great photos bro
Sigma for life
Thanks so much 🙏🏼
