Hi supercarlinbrothers onward could be set on another planet, the only planet we have seen in the pixar universe is the main planet earth, or another reality or dimension (like the undead dimension/world in coco). Love your vids.
What if Onward takes place on Mars millions of years ago before Earth and when Mars was a habitable planet. Mars inhabited magical creatures and they created tech like we did. Then the meteor that hit missed Earth hit Mars and all of the magical creatures went extinct. Then go on to what we know already about Earth. 🤯
I LOVE THIS THEORY!!! I've always wondered where the other ships went and this sounds so logical and so possible! Sign me up for the ship going to that planet!

Once Boo finds a way to seep this magic from the world (without being too much of a detriment to its inhabitants), she attempts to make it back to Earth and ends up...IN SCOTLAND (would also explain how she got pretty good with woodwork, having to help teach infrastructure on the fantasy planet). Two moons in the sky together would appear to have the same phase. The relative distance of the moons to each other is nothing compared to their distance from their sun, so there is little visible parallax and the same shadow is cast on both. As long as they are in the same side of the sky together they will have the same phase. This wired dot com article shows a picture of the two moons of Mars, Phobos and Deimos, taken by the Curiosity Rover; both moons are half phase. (Of course, the moons of mars are not perfectly round, but you can see their vertical shadow down the middle. www.wired.com/2013/08/curiosity-phobos-deimos/ media.wired.com/photos/59332e9326780e6c04d2e9de/master/pass/phobosanddeimos1.jpg Hey, mars has two moons. Perhaps these monsters are descendants of wall-e era earth refugees who settled on mars!
I took a science test the other day, and it had a diagram where mars was in the middle, and Phobos and Deimos were surrounding it, which means that seeing those two moons lining up(some sort of eclipse?)would not be possible unless they revolves around mars at different speeds because of mass and distance.(sorry I’m looking too much into this lol)
@@reputaytion Yes, Phobos and Deimos orbit at different speeds. Phobos is closer to mars and takes 7 and a half hours to orbit, while deimos is farther away and takes about 30 hours. That means that during a martian day you could see Phobos rise and set multiple times, and you could watch it pass by Deimos in the sky. If you can get to Mars, that is.
Fun fact: Mars’s moons are named Phobos and Deimos. In actual Greek/Roman mythology those are two of the god Mars’s sons. They are the gods of fear and panic respectively. Phobos is where we get the word “phobia” from.

@@johnblack4924 No no no no. It couldn't been Ilumination because Pixar films actually have emotion in them. And aren't bland and boring. And you can connect with the characters. I could go on and on.
Another theory: 1. After Monsters Inc. an asteroid hits the Earth (karma), creating the second moon, possibly also releasing a dust cloud that shrouds the Earth in darkness, and kills the monsters. 2. The mystical creatures seen in the trailer evolve in the aftermath of the disaster. 3. Humans either evolve randomly (the asteroid could be radioactive or something, promoting evolution), another BNL starship lands, or some humans (maybe they were kept by the monsters for testing) survived. 4. After millennia, humans create modern technology as seen in the trailer, likely with the help of some surviving Monster technology.
The movie happens after a meteor hit earth taking out people and the debris shot part of earth into space causing a second moon and taking out all people but animals evolved into mythical beings because when all technology was taken out all (With walle) that was left was magic THEN the magical spices got technology a 100+ years later evolve into monsters
I mean, I don't think we have to make onward fit, the same channel said that the Pixar theory is something fun for us to fit together, not to debunk , so yea they can make onward fit ,but if it doesn't that shouldn't matter
What if when Loki took the infinity Stone in Avengers Endgame, he created a branched timeline(one in which we are currently living in) where Pixar now had alternate Pixar theories?
Im putting my money on a post walle ship colonizing a new planet and slowly evolving into the monsters. We didn't break the pixar theory we discovered the missing link2.0
So let me sum this up: The ships in space were running out of food, and unlike the one we see in WallE, none found a way to cope. Except here, one of the ships found a habitable planet, inhabited with magical creatures. The AI sent the ship there, as their coding forbade them returning to earth, but not to other planets. As they arrived, the humans started to breed with the magical creatures, sharing their technology with them but breeding out the magic. Ps. I assume the AI couldn’t cope with the magic and stopped working.
I genuinely expected this to be an admit defeat video and emphasizing that the pixar theory is just a bunch of fun and not to worry. I was wrong. And I'm glad.
Well, Earth could also have gotten itself another moon in between Wall-E and Onward. I mean it's entirely possible. But I really like your perspective on how Onward is going to fit into the Pixar Theory.
... well for Earth to capture a moon is extremely unlikely as it would have to be further than The Moon (as our is relatively very close and large) but Earth doesn't have enough mass for that
@@books2438 I mean, who says? He says later in the video that, if there's a plot hole in the theory, some things need to be rethought. Now, I'm not saying his current theory that it's on another planet is wrong or even bad, but I am saying that the only things that make The Good Dinosaur the very beginning of our timeline are that it's prehistoric. Maybe animals just work that way in all Pixar timelines. Maybe it truly is main Pixar timeline, but it diverges right around the point where the asteroid misses.
People will always find a way to connect everything, even if they have to jump through hoops to do it. In short, the Pixar Theory will never be broken as long as fans keep enjoying the idea of it lol.
What if it is in Riley’s imagination. When the two main characters meet their father it is Riley’s dad. Then you see Riley at her fathers grave stone in tears. It was just her way of coping with her fathers death.
I thought maybe the main part of the movie was between Wally and monster inc and the days of old were before brave. That preserves the timeline and keeps us in earth.
Onward really made me think about how the Pixar theory might change. The new adaptation I thought of was that it might be that not every one of the other previous Pixar movies were on the same planet. So onward would be on a different planet and so a few other movies would be too. Maybe half the Pixar movies were on earth, then the other half were on the planet shown in onward. Then somehow the people/ monsters/ mystical creatures, find a way to space travel and meet. It’s a stretch... and I kinda hope it’s wrong, even if I thought of it.
i'm an eagle ok then what if i do it every time i get another hundred? This is a very cool experience for me as its my most number of likes and i can be very hyper and annoying. I just like it
even better job coming right up The movie happens after a meteor hit earth taking out people and the debris shot part of earth into space causing a second moon and taking out all people but animals evolved into mythical beings because when all technology was taken out all (With walle) that was left was magic THEN the magical spices got technology a 100+ years later evolve into monsters
This is how you perfectly clickbait a video. No joke there, not even anger. You pulled me in thinking the Pixar Theory could be broken but in the video you immediately say it doesn't and try to explain how Onward could fit. #ClickbaitDoneRight
Well my theory is that the humans crashed, all (or nearly all) the humans on board died and the magical creatures used human technology to inspire their technology development.
An alicorn is a unicorn's horn (or the substance from which the horn made). But MLP needed a short word for a winged unicorn, so they grabbed that one.
My theory: Onward took place on Mars before The Good Dinosaur and when the meteor missed Earth (in The Good Dinosaur) it hit Mars and ended their civilization. Mars has 2 moons which helps it.
Mars has two moons. What if this is when they actually figured out a way to send people and inhabit Mars, and the atmosphere just changed their DNA. Edit: That's what I get for commenting too early in the vid😂
A nice thought, but of Mars's two moons, only Demos is spherical. Phobos is shaped like a potato as it was originially an asteroid that Mars caught in its gravity well.
Technically monsters inc have created a super weapon without knowing it..so long as a door is replicated in the workshop they can travel through sed door, and the world or time period of onward isnt able to dodge the doors ability so a monster can most definetly enter their world
Soooo... 1. Onward fits between Walle and Monsters Inc. Or... 2. It doesn’t fit and it isn’t supposed to. Maybe Toy Story 4 is the end of this Pixar timeline, you now start with Toy Story end with Toy Story. And this is something new!
Or it could fit before the good dinosaur like the civilization fell eventually for some reason and the second moon was destroyed and the people evolved into dinosaurs
To elaborate on numero uno (number one) perhaps the re-spreading of technology Onward happens and wait... Did we ever see the night sky or the moon in the Monsters movies? Maybe the earth got a new moon
Personally I think that this represents a new "phase" for pixar. They finished their previous narrative, tied up all the loose ends, and now they are starting something different. A new story, a new narrative, and a new issue. Previously it was Humanity, Nature, and Machine, can they live together? Now Onward (heh) to a new Theme!
Come see Toy Story 4 with us in DC on June 30th! :: bit.ly/2WfYI5c

Another theory:
Gotta be another planet, and I like the Wall-E tie-in idea! Nicely done guys!
I mean, I don't think we have to make onward fit, the same channel said that the Pixar theory is something fun for us to fit together, not to debunk , so yea they can make onward fit ,but if it doesn't that shouldn't matter
Justa Name, exactly. I like the idea that they are all connected, but it won’t change my enjoyment of them if it doesn’t work out.
Theory: some humans left earth after walle and went to a planet and adapted to fit it's environment while some stayed and turned into the monsters
Timmy Timed did they say your theory in the onward Pixar theory vid
What if when Loki took the infinity Stone in Avengers Endgame, he created a branched timeline(one in which we are currently living in) where Pixar now had alternate Pixar theories?
The Beginning Of Knowledge dang that would be wild because then marvel and Pixar would be connected
Oh god.... onward has two moons... you know what this means, it *IS* crossing through universes.... the *Star wars universe*
The Earth use to have two moons.
Deception975 wait what
(Deception975) Where did you hear that?
@@Deception975 is that supposed to be a joke?
Deception975 that's true
Im putting my money on a post walle ship colonizing a new planet and slowly evolving into the monsters. We didn't break the pixar theory we discovered the missing link2.0
that's actually an amazing theory... im in support of that!
Read my comment, it's similar to yours but a but different
I just commented that before scrolling down
So let me sum this up:
The ships in space were running out of food, and unlike the one we see in WallE, none found a way to cope.
Me, watching this video: THIS ISN'T ON EARTH! THERE ARE TWO MOONS!
J: it's on another planet
Me: FINALLY
People watching the trailer: there's two moons it's not Earth
SCB: It's not Earth
Me: The second moon is the asteroid the missed the Earth
A Person yea, but then it would show up on other movies (Two moons)
“Actual magic staff” or... or a torch?
@`Aryuki` I think it's a staff
Well, Earth could also have gotten itself another moon in between Wall-E and Onward. I mean it's entirely possible. But I really like your perspective on how Onward is going to fit into the Pixar Theory.
Ehh... maybe. But that still doesn't explain how they could go from technology, to no technology, back to technology.
... well for Earth to capture a moon is extremely unlikely as it would have to be further than The Moon (as our is relatively very close and large) but Earth doesn't have enough mass for that
not possible. its also a very lame explaination if earth just "got another moon"
I love how disgusted you got when you mentioned alternate dimensionsz
Royal Rutter multiple dimensions makes everything confusing, like marvel comics.
Zedia *captain America riding a unicorn flies into the scene*
Which is funny, because, like, that's literally the point of The Good Dinosaur. It's an alternate dimension.
Jandiqar Thace alternate to our own dimension; but in the pixar theory, it’s what happened
King Nyle I like this but also so sad
Onward is happening at the same time as monsters inc. But is in an isolated part of the world like wakanda in the mcu
what about the 2 moons?
uhhh maybe a bit later and the earth catches a second moon somehow?
Some Hive Mind Thing or maybe they ARE the second moon, same thing with them seeing earth.
I wanna say it’s just a story book, like the princess bride
Also, it’s just Starlord Thor and prepubescent Peter Parker.
If this is true and we see that at the end of the movie...🤯🤯🤯🤯
*Video starts* me: it's on a different planet.
Him: it's... On a different planet!
Me: 😮
SAAAAAAMMMMEEEE

I thought maybe the main part of the movie was between Wally and monster inc and the days of old were before brave. That preserves the timeline and keeps us in earth.
I saw the two moons and was like “duh it’s on another planet”
Super Carlin Brother's: we have finally perfected the Pixar theory
Onward: Imma bout to end this man's whole career
Jon Carlin- Yeah, nah. We found a way
I haven’t watched scb in a while and I came and heard ‘Hey Brother!!’ It made me smile, I’m never leaving 😂
Same
Hannah Hyde same tho!😂
oml that’s me every time i come back to their vids
Same here
If you turn on closed captions on the trailer, you can see all the characters' names.
The whole thing is just a story being told to someone in the actual timeline.
That would not surprise me, but who is telling it? And to who? why? Besides for the god giving the history of a planet to a new god

Parent died. It really is a Disney movie!
Because we can't have a kids film without parent death
It’s okay if Onward breaks the Pixar Theory...
At least we’ll get Chris Pratt and Tom Holland together.
as j said norhing can break theyll just find a new way to make it work

even better job coming right up The movie happens after a meteor hit earth taking out people and the debris shot part of earth into space causing a second moon and taking out all people but animals evolved into mythical beings because when all technology was taken out all (With walle) that was left was magic THEN the magical spices got technology a 100+ years later evolve into monsters
This is how you perfectly clickbait a video. No joke there, not even anger. You pulled me in thinking the Pixar Theory could be broken but in the video you immediately say it doesn't and try to explain how Onward could fit.

Oh my goodness, I freaking love this theory.
Well my theory is that the humans crashed, all (or nearly all) the humans on board died and the magical creatures used human technology to inspire their technology development.
Sophie Teresa The pixar theory never worked to begin with. The people in the Toy Story movies and Up, for example, look completely different.

My theory:
Onward took place on Mars before The Good Dinosaur and when the meteor missed Earth (in The Good Dinosaur) it hit Mars and ended their civilization. Mars has 2 moons which helps it.
Ok that's the best one I've heard in a long time. But they have human technology. Sorry but it doesn't work.

Mars has two moons. What if this is when they actually figured out a way to send people and inhabit Mars, and the atmosphere just changed their DNA.
Edit: That's what I get for commenting too early in the vid😂
Alonna Huff u so stole my idea but I had way more reasons 😂
Alonna Huff, Deimos and Phobos aren’t very round, they look much more lumpy than our moon, almost like a potato. Onward’s moons are round.
A nice thought, but of Mars's two moons, only Demos is spherical. Phobos is shaped like a potato as it was originially an asteroid that Mars caught in its gravity well.
What if the angle of view makes Phobos round-ish?
What about the magic where did that come from
Answer: PROBABLY NOT
It takes place on another planet. So it doesn't mess with Earth's timeline. At least not unless they also interact with Earth.
Lol what? Pixar is the universe. Not the planet they are on
Technically monsters inc have created a super weapon without knowing it..so long as a door is replicated in the workshop they can travel through sed door, and the world or time period of onward isnt able to dodge the doors ability so a monster can most definetly enter their world
Soooo...
I forgot to mention that they might have died off or devolved after Good Dinosaur
The Pixar Infinity Saga
To elaborate on numero uno (number one) perhaps the re-spreading of technology Onward happens and wait...
Did we ever see the night sky or the moon in the Monsters movies?
Maybe the earth got a new moon
DC’sMixedBasket82 after the good dinosaur is impossible because of spot unless there are going to be humans in onwards
Could you imagine if there's an Axium reference in Onward?
Or Cadillac bluffs
I just thought it's another planet. Doesn't need to be in the same world, just universe.
Could onward be set in one of Riley or Andy's dreams
Maybe the movie's timeline is huge, with the magic part being around brave and the technology around monsters inc
I hope that Pixar makes a movie one day called Pixar with its focus being the theory and how it connect. That would be more than satisfying
only trouble with doing that is that every movie that comes afterwards won't be in it. It only works if it becomes Pixar's final project.
pixar's last movie
Sorry guys, Seamus beat you to it! Not that that matters at all. 😜
Edit: did NOT see that connection coming! 👀
