The Hu already released this. But their peeps contacted Lzzy' for a colab. Asked her for new lyrics and tune. Lzzy wrote, recorded and sent three vocal tracks in three days. The Hu wizards mixed and recorder then invited her in for the video. She said it was wonderful working with 'the boys'.
Yes! Lzzy responded to a Tweet I sent a year or so ago (and OMG!!!) that referenced and linked to this song. She said it took her 3 days and thanked The HU profusely for the opportunity to work with them.
They Hu are amazing. Wolf Totem rocks hard. Mother Nature with LP is gorgeous.
If the radio played music this good I wouldn’t need UA-cam!

The music industry is only interested in cookie cut music, it all sounds the same and is really unappealing to a lot of people. Pop that has no pop is not music.
This has been a transformative and healing song for me...to hear men honoring the women in their lives, not only that, but also in the song itself carrying her song with their deep, rich throat singing.I have felt the pain of women through the ages for a while now and experiencing the aggressive side of men for a while...not physically, but how women have to fight for their right of being, right of being safe in man's presence and for the right to decide over their own bodies....and so much more...this is very primal, but very healing, and if you ask me the way it is intended to be. It moves at soul level....And then there are the instruments, arrangements and the sheer beauty of cross cultural collaboration...Thank you for getting all of that ! And for your reaction !
I saw the Hu band a couple years ago at an outdoor amphitheater in the Texas hill country. The area has a great deal of Native American history. Their music sounds so tribal and as they played that night it was very spiritual and almost spooky.

Apparently throat singing is taught. If u look it up u might find instructions. There’s actually a woman who teaches this. She phenomenal!

Love this track! My ex gf is Inner Mongolian and took me to a Mongolian throat singing concert while I was living in Beijing, which was pretty cool. She claimed to be a descendent of Ghengis Khan, which is actually not a stretch according to history. lol The collab with Lzzy H is freaking incredible, well done as usual sir!
I would believe her, it’s a known fact that 1 in every 200 men (of european and asian decent) on the planet earth have Chinggis Khaan’s (Ghengis Khaan to us westerners) DNA in them.
When they go on your they typically get a suite of connected rooms with a kitchen, the band mates then as a group effort make and prepare their own meals, they have posted videos showing how to cook prepare Mongolian dinners, you would drool 🤤 just watching it.

Sebs there a song by Halestorm that Lzzy wrote called "Dear Daughter", with you having girls you might want to check it out.
I saw the HU in concert and they are as clean as they sound on this video.
I've seen Haelstorm as well and they crushed.
I can throat sing, but I think it was years of whiskey and the green.
The Hu did a Wolf Totem colab with Jacoby Shaddix of Pappa Roach that's pretty good, too (if you're not a purist).
This one is cool. They also have a couple more collabs... This is Mongol with William DuVall of Alice in Chains, and Black Thunder with Serj from System of a Down and DL from Bad Wolves. All are worth checking out.
One of my favorites after Song of Women. Their collabs hit hard.

Oh, welcome to the party bro. Though a tad late - you can check out more stuff at once. Some have English lyrics to accompany, which are also badass. Wolf Totem is definitely the starter kit for these monsters.

I do not agree with the first statement. Women can be anything, they don't have to be mothers to be women. Women are powerful, whatever they decide to do. 💪🏻❤ But I do agree with the fact that if you've got children you need to be with them - both men and women, fathers and mothers. ❤

I loved this when I first heard it. Another strange and exceptional voice is Batista Aquaviva on the Voice France singing PSAUME DE DAVID. Her whistle tone in the latter half is described by a judge as sounding like a bird. I believe it is based on the early historical music of the church. The second half of the song is as strange and as uniquely beautiful as anything I have ever heard.

"This is one of the hardest metal tunes I've ever heard." Guess what. Its not metal. That's like calling Rush metal, it's in a category of it's own. Like Rush, the Hu pulls emotions out of you, mesmerizes you and makes you ask yourself....Is this for real?

i like the HU saw em live last year with 5 finger death punch and mega deth was pretty good but hard to really appreciate it since the audio on the mic and what not wasent very good so they didnt sound all that well but still a great show

@@sagemcbroom5209 Nope. The Hu needs particular miking setup, and with only a 20-minute set, I doubt they were able to arrange things to their liking. Megadeath was...well, Megadeath. I was impressed with Five Finger DP.
@Alan Foster yeah i saw a big transition between audio from all 3 they were tweaking it all show ffdp had the best quality audio even megadeth was slighty off coming through the speakers but thats prob just our amphitheater it was held at

The HU is an amazing band. I saw them live before covid hit. These guys are badass. I don't think theybhave a song that is not amazing.
