    Even though I already knew about the skin modifier for this kind of thing, I really appreciate the tutorial! Well done!

    Thank you so much for this man for all the videos. I’ve watched on this subject. This is by far the easiest one to follow along and get exactly the results I was looking for.

    This is really good precise tutorial and straight to the point. Quick question. Are you using a mouse a table with pen to do this

    • @mojoGameDev
      @mojoGameDev  9 днів тому +1

      I Just used a mouse to make this base mesh.
      But if i need to add details in sculpt mode,i MIGHT need to use the tablet

      @@mojoGameDev nice good work. Right now, im following your tutorial and im stuck. After adding the skin and subdivision surface modifier the cube doesn't change like what yours does. It seems something is wrong and im not sure what. The subdivision surface doesn't do anything. But when i add the remesh modified it seems to work. Only issue is i have to do it in object but once i go to edit mode to start extrude the mesh goes back to being s cube. Im googling and trying to find out why. Im using 4.2 version

      @@eric24g make sure you add the skin modifier BEFORE the Subdivision modifier.
      after adding the skin modifier to the single vertex,it should become a cube,then you can add the subdivision modifier.

      @@mojoGameDev yes, I added the skin modifier which became the cube then added the subdivision surface and it didn't work. Not sure why, but what seemed to work is using the remesh modifier. Its not exactly what i wanted but it still seems to do the trick. The subdivision modifier seems to not do anything. I'll continue researching why.

    Will this method work for games?

    • @mojoGameDev
      @mojoGameDev  20 днів тому +1

      Yeah.
      Just reduce the polygon count and do some retopology.
      NB:There's free and paid softwares and addons for that.

      @@TanmayTandel-w4s look up Bran Sculpts, they’re who this tutorial is copying and goes over the whole process including retopology to get your models game-ready

    sooo are you ever gonna credit Bran Sculpts for this or just play it off as your own?
