This is such a beautiful and understated piece. I liked it so much that I bought it 3 times, first time was the older model with printed Arabic numerals, sold it after a few years, bought the silver grey dial version, which was different, but missed the flat black dial, and bought the new version with applied Arabic numerals seen here.
Very nice alternative I discovered when I was looking at the IWC Mk. XVIII. More reasonable price and, shorter lug to lug (I can't go above 50 mm, personally).
I normally prefer white dials but this is just amazing. In fact, this watch has my favourite hands of any watch. Looks amazing in real life. It's up there with the Longines Spirit as 'peak watch'. Just wish they made them in 36!
I’ve been waiting for this one 🎉 Great review Rob. I’m hoping to pick one of these up later this year as a daily driver. It’ll be my first Swiss auto so although the lack of micro adjust and AR coating might be a bit of an issue, I’m glad that overall it got the RR seal of approval 👍
There are 2 things that keep me from buying this watch. No micro adjustments on the band, no excuses for not have that and the second hand. It is very difficult to see it, and in the dark forget it. This watch would look good with a red second hand and more lumen at the tip. Good video well done. Thanks
I like this watch. Have for a while - only areas for improvement for me would be to get it COSC certified and ideally to match the 4 on the date wheel with the fun 4 font on the dial. I think they missed a trick there
Yes, any all dial watch should come with 38mm size. 41mm and the dial extend all the way to the edge of the case will be very dinner plate like in your wrist
Have the blue version on bracelet. Awesome watch with maybe THE Best Crown Grip ever…it is different from the crown in this video. The crown on mine IS screwdown and I got it for under $1k.
It bothers me that the font for the "4" in the date window is different than the "4" at 4 o'clock. They should both be the font used for the "4" at 4 o'clock. I'll never buy this watch because of that.
The 41mm is perfect. The 44-45mm faces are too big. It’s not too thick and the raised white numerals on black face make it simple to see even when not wearing glasses. Just wish second hand had white tip. I like it with black nylon band, metal clasp. The metal clasp/band above is well made. 👍
Oris has really been stepping up their game. This is a sharp looking watch. Not sure why they felt the need to put "lift" on the bracelet clasp. Odd decision and completely unnecessary.
@@bettersteps My Omega Seamaster has two flanking pins you press together that opens clasp. It involuntarily opens when caught on my sleeve or jacket. Very annoying when watch falls off. Oris clasp seems better.
Too old fashion looking, too inaccurate, too pricey and too delicate. No thanks. It looks like an old wall clock on ones wrist. Like the wall clocks we all stared at in grade school.

It is for sure my next watch. Beautiful. Thanks Rob.
Die you really get it?
Such an underrated watch!
tbh it deserves it

I would love to see how that bracelet looks on the Okavango.
I think this is a really great looking watch. But for the life of me, I can’t figure out why you would not have micro adjustability on a bracelet?
Mine has 3 micro adjustment holes, I have the regular clasp.
Beautiful watch, move date to 6 and it'd be perfect. Thanks Rob 👍🏻👍🏻
If you like that watch, you should really check out the ORIS BC3 Advanced on the bracelet. Such calming watch with an awesome finish.
I have the older version and it doesn’t have raised Arabics. And the clasp is different. I would prefer this one
Nice piece. I prefer the same clasp as the Oris Aquis...... it just works!

Nice watch. I like the size. I was also wondering if the glare would be unpleasant. Does this one have applied numerals?
Make a 38mm and I'm sold
Way small
yes

@@mohnnadmercedes8246 44-45mm is worse. Looks like a hubcap
Why doesn't the font of the four in the date window match the font of the four on the dial?
It’s nice, but only a Sellita for $2000???!!!
We need 72hrs power reserve Oris!!

How do you find out lack of microadjustment? How thick is your wrist and how many links did you removed?
I have that exact watch and the black second hand drives me nut because it's so hard to see.
Oris is hard to beat at the price point
My Squale sub-39mon has great ar coating and it makes all the difference. Everything just looks better!
How much

Solid piece 👍
My aging head would prefer the day-date version which exists and is reasonably priced.
The original big crown pointer date is much better
Hello it is very nice omega sea-master you compare the Oris to. Witch model is it exactly...
Oris has really been stepping up their game. This is a sharp looking watch.
Not sure why they felt the need to put "lift" on the bracelet clasp. Odd decision and completely unnecessary.
It’s meant to look exactly like a plane seatbelt. They say lift on them
@@Remy84 Gotcha....Great decision. Completely necessary. Good job Oris.

That's a nice, no frills watch.
Alas It's not a Diver. I know. I know I sound like a broken record going. Click.. Diver.. Click Diver click diver
Good job 👏
A great looking watch let down by no micro adjust, so many other brands give us a micro ratcheting clasp, sort it out oris..
It is a huge problem to not have microadjust for such a nice bracelet. Makes zero sense to me. Otherwise about the perfect watch for my tastes.
Nice really nice 👍
Very cool watch and I would love to own one myself but I can’t justify the price point for an Oris
Hey 🥈
$1900 no ar no micro adjust NO THANKS.
👌😎👌
На циферблате сапфир, на задней крышке пластик 👎. Проверено.
$1900 I can get a used Rolex or Omega !!!
For 1900 it would be a very used rolex..
