Nuzlocke rules:
Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
Always Set mode
No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
No overleveling the next gym leader

Dunsparce with serene grace holding a king’s rock:exists
Body slam,bite,zen headbutt,protect:We are the optimal moves
King's rock doesn't boost crit on moves that already have a flinch chance in later gens and i think gen 7 is one of them

I think a good idea for a nuzlocke is that you can only have 1 Pokémon of each type on your turn and if you encounter something on your team that has same type you can’t catch it
I normally try to play Pokemon like that already. It's possible and I'd argue the easiest form of a Hardcore Nuzlock run but it's still an interesting way to play
Or you can like choose to replace it if it’s got better stats or nature just to keep variety and strategies open yknow

No no, turn it around. If you encounter a pokemon of the same type you have in your party you HAVE to replace your previous party member(s).
This would ensure a great diversity, probably do it in gen 8 to make leveling easyer.

I'm glad you got to get a Stufful this run! That line is my absolute favorite of gen 7!
Quick Tip: On Melemele Island you can find a Munchlax after you defeat the Kahuna 👍
That is on route 1 and 3, where he got Spearow and pikipek.
He actualy capture one since it the only way you can get leftover

They need to give Dunsparce an evolution, not for the purpose of using the evolution but so we can use Dunsparce with Eviolite because he’s already a perfect being, and why mess with perfection?

@@possiblyivy726 In Ultramoon I beat it with toxic, and in Ultrasun with an Abomashnow with sheer cold and focus sash, pretty easy if you know what is coming.
@@Elconquistar well theres obviously ways to beat it, but only if you know what your doing. If its truly your first time against if then you shouldnt realize that its gonna sweep your entire team

After the First trial and after you have Tauros, There's thief in the Cavern, (It's a TM, you can break rocks with Tauros to get.) I would recommend it against Marowak. It takes away it's Thick Club.

A cool idea for a run could be to start a run with 6 randomized pokemon, but you can't catch/acquire any more for the rest of your run. You'll only have those 6 and if you lose some you won't have a full team

Hey Antlerboy! I had an idea for a challenge run that I think is really cool, and I'd be absolutely thrilled if you tried it out!
I call it the MagicLocke (Partially named after me, and partially named after the challenge, you'll see why)
The MagicLocke is a typical Nuzlocke, but with a couple added rules.
1. You can't use a pokemon with a base Special Attack stat more than 60 in battle (Or 60 base Special in gens 1 and 2)
2. You can't use any physical move, only special moves that have 70 power or less
3. (Optional) To make things a bit easier, if you're doing this in gens 1-3, you are allowed one physical move that's Ground or Fighting type on only one pokemon. This is because you will literally have no super effective moves against Electric, Normal, or Dark type pokemon.
4. (Optional) For an extra challenge, you can force yourself to use Struggle until you have access to a special move.
I think this is a really interesting challenge, especially in gens 1-3, because Normal, Poison, Flying, Bug, Rock, Ghost, and Steel type moves are completely off-limits (And Ground and Fighting, if you choose to ignore the lifeline rule). This makes the very early game especially hard, because very few pokemon have moves that aren't normal or flying type.
It would mean a TON if you try this challenge, because I did my best to come up with some good rules to make it interesting. If you want to make it even more challenging, you could do it with hardcore Nuzlocke rules as a base, rather than a regular Nuzlocke.
