    This video shows you how to install an AC condenser on your 2011-2019 Ford Explorer. A punctured, clogged, rusted, or damaged AC condenser will affect the efficiency and temperature levels of your car or truck's air conditioning.
    PLEASE NOTE: Before attempting this repair, have your AC system's refrigerant properly removed by a qualified technician.
    This repair was done on a 2013 Ford Explorer Limited 3.5L Sport Utility 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

    Should be nice to see the A.C. gas recharging process and put the system working and freezing again.

    Great video! Not the easiest AC condenser to replace. Need some patience. The corrosion on the AC condenser and where the high and low side line attach to can be tricky and a bit of a pain.

    If you take 6 bolts out of the core support assembly then the whole cooling module can be taken out and sat on a bench to disassemble. It's a whole lot easier than fighting it in the vehicle.

    Doesn't the condenser need some PAG46 oil added in it?

    Very nice and detailed video!! Thank you!!! I noticed that there is a Trany radiator attached to the condenser!!
