Thanks so much for sharing this info! I think I will need to watch the video a few more times to get all the steps down, but looking forward to trying this!
Thank you SOOO MUCH for posting this! I could not find any free downloads of 1:12 size printables that looked good, except ones that they want to charge a fortune for (and you have to print it yourself)!!! 😮 I had a ton of them, but they got lost when I moved, so this is a welcome diy! Subscribing!!!
Here’s another tip. After choosing a box. I just took a picture with my iPhone. Then I copy and pasted it into pages, then printed and cut it out. Took me about five minutes.😎
Wow! I'm so impressed with your skills. I've had a large dollhouse for years but recently decided to start working on it. Been trying to find tutorials on different things (especially plant making) so happy I found your channel!
❤Thank you so much for your video on resizing, I’ve literally spent my whole day looking up how to resize for miniatures. I have PS, but I’m sure it’s all the same. I’m a novice at it right now and kinda scared to even go into it, but thanks to your video, I’m ALL IN!! Again, Thanks So Much!!! I’m sure I’m gonna watch this one a million times!!! I Love ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS!! ❤️ I did the noodles tonight, my grand nuggets ( kids ) loved them!!

Thanks so much for the thorough, complete, and detailed tutorial. Showing every step so clearly--including each scanner and Canva selection--was extremely helpful. Excellent!
Gracias por compartirlo, eres muy amable, no todos los que saben lo comparten. Muchos amantes de las miniaturas somos mayores y aunque nos ayuden tenemos problemas de memoria y tus videosnos ayudan muchísimo..GRACIAS
Thank you for sharing your knowledge Brindha. You make it look easy, I really would love to be able to figure out how to do that. It is very interesting to watch.
@@TheMiniatureTown I sent your video to my cousin because she is so much more computer literate than I am...but she couldn’t figure it out and thought that your scanner was different than hers. I don’t have a printer so it may not be happening. However, I enjoyed watching you do it and appreciated your willingness to share your talent.
@@TheMiniatureTown My cousin told me she didn’t think her scanner did what yours did. I noticed you used Canva and I in the past tried using Canva (confusing but probably me) she has never used it before at all. She has a lot more computer knowledge than I do because she works with them everyday. The newest technology I had access to in high school were manual typewriters, and she had access to electric typewriters LOL. She does still work with computers everyday, I have not and more confusing for me is that I have a Chromebook. Windows is very confusing to me. I am sure you are doing a great job explaining it. I think the issue is with our limited skills. I would love to absorb your knowledge on this I’d get excited about all the possibilities.
@@TheMiniatureTown Hello Brindha, I came across your videos a week ago(I subbed because your Amazing 😊) and I've been watching as many vids as I can. This one is wonderful too! Please let me know in a comment to me if you're going to do the vid & when it's ready. I get emails when someone comments to me, so I'll see it for sure! Happy to see this. I went over it several times but I did not see how to make the item 1/12th scale. Did I miss it or is it just keep playing with size until I get it? Please and thank you.
Wow!! Wish I was that knowledgeable on the computer! Terrific job! I tried a pack of cigarettes only bc it was small enough to fit on my printer. Idk how I managed to even shrink it down....
If you want to make it actually to scale, measure the original in one direction and divide by 12 (for 1/12) and when you resize, make that side the size you came up with and it will resize whole thing to 1/12 size.

Once again, though, how do I know what to size things in for say, my Barbie, which is 1:6? I can make a copy of anything on my computer. But when I put it onto my program to make it smaller, how do I know what number to make it smaller too?
You are the best! I was trying to figure out how to do this for the past few days. Perfect timing!
Thanks a lot Queen City minis ❤️💕! Very Happy that my video was helpful ❤️ ❤️❤️

Hi dear even I’m pretty new to miniatures I am not very much in to size I just make things in mini size, but I have seen lot of size chats for scales

Which did u used?? To print
It’s a normal a4 sheet and sometimes I use card stock for thick surfaces ❤️
👏👏👏
Thanks a lot @Jolly Good!!!
Me encantaría que también lo haga en español... Gracias
Which printer you have?
Thank you so much.
If people don't have scanner in home how to do this work for their project mam?
Which sheet you have used?
looks like your scanner pad where you punch in what to do, still has the plastic sheet on it. Peel that off and you will have a like new surface. :)
Oh really ? I dint notice it, thank you so much for letting me know 💕💕❤️
@@TheMiniatureTown no problem.. I used a VCR for 2 years before I saw that there was a plastic film on it!! Peeled it off and it was like new. LOL
👏
Thanks santos ❤️🫶🏻
How do you know the correct size to print for 1:12 scale??
How would you do packages like Oreos or goldfish
Sure carmela I’ll definitely make one for you !! Keep watching!
@@TheMiniatureTownthank you
Can u drop the link for these printables PLEASEEE😭😭😭
Has someone scanned these with smartphone? I have tried with scanning app, but it keeps being dark or blurry when printed out.
Even for me scanning won’t help much so I usually create it with Canva and print using laser printer
Never, never cut toward yourself, hands or fingers.
