Bats are common in some areas in Lekki, I lived in Agungi for years and also has the same issue, check if there is a fruit tree (that 9ja fruit tree) near your house, also check your windows for spacing i.e not shutting completely, they can go through the tiniest opening, I reinforced mine with mosquito nets in and out, and it was sorted.

Get animal control to look at your house and know the problem dear,u don’t need to move. Secondly,adding mosquito net to your windows can solve the problem cos sometimes the reflection of windows attract them and if there’s little space in the window,it’ll definitely fly in

The bat thing is something that can be controlled and I’m sure it hasn’t happened twice. Moving out is not really the best option for now (in my opinion) I digress 😢😂

Omo went apartment hunting too but ended up staying back cos the houses we were seeing was way smaller than what we had and the one that managed to measure up was like double or more the price of what we were currently paying. Don’t know why Landlords of this days will build houses with smaller rooms and still put outrageous prices. How can a supposed masters bed have 2 door wardrobe and you will still come and place it at 4M for 2 bed😔 because it’s in Wuye or town like dey call it here…
