Recently did my registration and I’m kinda regretting moving back to Nigeria. I’m anxious and I feel stuck because I haven’t even been cleared online. Tbh it’s just stressful and to have them berate you is an added reason to cry. You’re a strong woman and I know it took a toll on you when they mentioned your mom. People in power generally in Nigeria do not know how to treat/respect people genuinely and it’s sad. I went to a military school so I had a pretty good idea what it was going to be like in camp but I still had anxiety towards the experience. The fact that you were able to make a video, phew! I can so much relate to this. The LGI and one other staff were always sooo rude to me like they knew me from somewhere. Like is it a crime to be pretty and have an intimidating look?😂 I’m always so polite. Even to the last minute she was so rude. She made me face disciplinary panel for missing a month’s biometric clearance cus I was sick. I’m so glad I’m done with nysc.
So sorry about your experience 😞, honestly it’s been like that since secondary school. The way the lecturers handle things is a mess. It literally makes you scared of approaching them. Just can’t wait to be done with school.

Did she really say, "You look 25 because of stress?" around the 2:32 mark. A mess. She was just saying anything while checking your vitals. "You're too fine to be stupid." Wow. Instead of them providing customer service, they are hurling insults. I honestly commend your patience and composure. I hope your NYSC experience gets better.

Currently serving in Abuja also. I would have had issues like this even though i was with all my original document they still requested for my original waec cert. Who would've thought. Thank goodness I scanned all my documents to the cloud before leaving for camp. Nysc needs to get their system together.

Honestly they are like that,I almost did not do my nysc as well,they told me I brought a fake result because my name didn’t appear on it which was an error from where I printed it,and it was later corrected. They told me to get out ,insulted me and I was really really tempted to fire back. If not for my family and friends,I wouldn’t have done it. They honestly don’t know how to treat people and I think it’s something the people in charge needs to correct.

Nysc is a like a military camp and in a military camp you don't expect anyone to treat you nicely... Nysc is just like serving a compulsory 1 year military service to your country just like other countries that do same but you're been posted to schools, companies, health facilities and others according to your course of study. Even in the develop countries they don't treat one well in the military or para military I went through it too but kudos to you sharing your experience
When through similar thing but after the insult and threat of force, I just calmly explain everything to them and I was just lucky enough I wasn't sent back. NYSC will break you if you're not careful especially those guys in camp they're meant to humiliate, stress and make you experience all sort of negative emotion.
I cried on my first day in camp, the women at the registration desk are always something else, I called my mother while crying like a baby. Terrible experience.
Wow I’m surprised uni graduates in Nigeria go through this, most of the things on the requirements list reminds me of the freshmen prospectus in Ghanaian senior high boarding schools
It’s a thing with officials at all these places .. they act like they will be call if someone treated their child like that .. so proud of you that you didn’t let them break you. Love you FT❤️❤️

Every Nysc official needs to watch this and learn to be polite with people. Their words so much hurts like mad. I left camp this month and I can attest to the fact they only a few are nice, the rest are just bitter and aggressive as if am the reason why they ended up there.
