Well, well, well as a 1st generation punk who was just a little bit to young to see the Pistols first time around i really wasnt sure what to expect, but absolutely blown away, the energy in that gig would have powered a small town for the night. No one missed the obvious Rotten sized elephant in the room in the slightest. The band were razor sharp and young Franky is having the time of his life, he was superb, what a showman and definately an honorary Pistol. I have seen so many bands over the years but this was right up there with anything i've seen. What a privilege to be at this gig thank you Sex Pistols.
Thank you for this, I was there on Tuesday 3 from the front near the middle! A place not for the faint hearted! Absolutely awesome gig.....and how good was Frankie Boy!
What a night thanks for sharing I was at back so I didn’t get injured as I’m disabled but it was epic Frank was awesome and the lads actually looked like they enjoyed playing together!!!
Frank is the spark plug to the engine everyone goes on about Johnny if he was with this band it would be cabaret and we don’t want that it’s franks energy that makes the gig with John it’s like having a Ferrari with a ford escort engine with Johnny it’s like watching your favourite football team with a cart horse number 9 you bring a substitute on and he scores a hat trick good luck lads enjoy the ride
Yeah right mate, we were all there when we were 8, 9, 10, s'funny the amount of people who claim they were there, that Trade hall must have held half a million people
Exactly mate, it’s just like seeing the Velvet Underground without Lou Reed, Queen without Freddie, the Beatles without John the Stooges without Iggy they can’t even be compared really, you haven’t seen the Pistols without Rotten mate so they shouldn’t even be compared to the Pistols just because they have 3 members of the band on the same stage and a frontman that looks like he’s dressed to go and do a day’s work at the office this is not a punk band it’s just a pub band really.
Are you joking, if you saw them live Carter is awesome, Lydon would be no where near as good, stood like a statue, with that odd crooning he developed after the Pistols, Lydons burnt way to many bridges, good ridance
@@nobbytart27all Lydon did was speak his mind sometimes he wasn’t speaking the truth but, at least he spoke his mind, and usually when people speak their mind, others that haven’t got the balls to speak turn against them and you can’t compare Carter to Lydon and can’t say that you have seen the Pistols if it’s not Lydon blasting into the microphone, love him or hate him he was the bands frontman, it’s like seeing the Velvet Underground without Lou Reed, Queen without Freddie, the Beatles without John Lennon it’s just not the same, you’re only saying Frank was much better because you saw them with Frank it’s that simple, they don’t sound like a punk band they sound more like a pub band.

lovely, thanks for sharing this. I saw them at Bush Hall & I'll be seeing them tomorrow in London. These gigs have been so good
Really looking forward to tonight. Just about to leave home.
I was there. Brilliant gig!
Blimey that was superb.. hope more shows are added

We were there! Great gig! 👍
Certainly better than my footage..problem was this 60 year old was down the front pretending he was 16 (again)...brilliant..thanks for uploading
I am 60 also 😭
Cheers for the upload, really enjoyed that
Have l ever hear The Pistols sounds so good live ????
Awesome!!
Brilliant!!! I found the mic pack but it wasn't my apple watch
@@chrispragnell9684 😂😂😂
Haha! 😂
Excellent. Thanks McTavish
What an amazing gig. Frank Carter is incredible. Punk rock at its very best.
jajajajajajajaa
What a great gig this was.

Much appreciated mate .
This is great. Thank you
I was there unbelievable
How great to see some old sods playing the songs they wrote and having a good time with it.
Bloody hell, cat piss and porcupines! Punk rock became a warm, fuzzy, cozy audience sing-along!
They sound great with Frank up front. Band is tight!
Sounding the best ever.
Frank is entertaining and everything…the Pistols are so good it sounds like Karaoke. They are perfect. God Save Steve Jones! Kicking ass.
Thanks for sharing
Magic takes me back is it really nearly 50 years !
Feck me that was awesome. wish I was there, Frank makes an excellent frontman
Nah sorry, don’t see the point of this. Say what you like about Rotten but his presence made the Pistols.
Certainly a better view than what I had behind a gang of giants at the back
😂 same
Absolutely outstanding...!
Was a great gig and great night the pit was mental at times 😂
Anybody with 3 cans of special brew down em and slightly knowing the words could sing for the Pistols
Fuck me, that was GREAT
Did you know that all these people were at Lesser Free Trade Hall in 1976 including me at age 8?!
Yeah right mate, we were all there when we were 8, 9, 10, s'funny the amount of people who claim they were there, that Trade hall must have held half a million people
Gracias Sex Pistols por volver a subirse al escenario. Los espero en Argentina
Steve F Jones so solid love this!!
Going in London tomorrow
Otra vez el error de pretender hacer Pistols sin Lydon. Nadie da la talla, y este cantante ni siquiera el registro de la voz.

@@mrfugazi6713 You said it, my friend, I'm laughing my ass off hahahha
Saw them at the electric circus- where was this gig at?
@@steverussell9340 Manchester Academy
The same cabaret comedy band they have always been!
I prefer Frank anytime. They’re bloody good!
Punks Rocker band Sid 🎸 Ever
Not a patch on johnny lydon.
Ed Sheeran's narf changed his act
That's simple red
He does it quite well, I imagined it would be worse.
What the fuck is doing on New York?
24/09/25 ?????
Please lads (steve,Paul,Glen) Put your differences aside and get John back on the microphone.
Are you joking, if you saw them live Carter is awesome, Lydon would be no where near as good, stood like a statue, with that odd crooning he developed after the Pistols, Lydons burnt way to many bridges, good ridance
Aye, Lydon is utter rubbish. Leave him to his tuneless PIL drivel.

Not the same. Pistols with a side order of chicken in a basket
Rotten is the pistols sorry.
Exactly ,this is just a good tribute band ,saw them many times ,also bumped into them in jersey round 78 ,but if new fans enjoy them good luck to them
Wow I didn't expect much but this is amazing, the singer is perfect for the job, better than Rotten. I look forward to the tour.
Half decent tribute act

The singer is light years better than the present day Lydon.
johny rotten sounds better
Without argument
BOLLOCKS. Nevermind the ....
His voice needs power and to learn the lyrics as well
