    Kronos Tutorial: Step Sequencer
    The Step Sequencer is a powerful modulation source that can be routed to affect different parameters within any EXi engine of the Kronos. Here I demonstrate how to modulate pitch, filter and amplitude using this feature

    I bougth the first Kronos 61 in denmark in 2011, it should only have been used for demo in the store, but the salesperson didn't know that, so i got it as the very first in DK, i came from the 01/W and Oasys88, but thanks to you i'm still learning new things about it. 🙏🙏

    You’re an absolute God send. I just wanted to find out. My laptop has been at the repairs for a while now. Can I use the Kronos to replace my Ableton workflow for now?

    Hey man, great stuff here, I'm finally able to use the step sequencer to some degree after being totally lost with it
    I have a question regarding the common step sequencer in the piano synth engines: what AMS am I supposed to use to trigger it? I can't seem to route it to anything that causes it to function

    Great tutuorial! Could you show the AMS step sequencer in an example to give context to its use? That would be helpful.

      @@narfsounds I am really grateful that you took the time to reply to my comment. I was probably not paying attention well enough. I want to stress how grateful I am for you video tutorials. I have learned so much from them.

    This is awesome and I was able to do it. Do I still modulate pitch if I want to play a rhythmic sequence while playing different chords or is this a job for Karma?
    I can't figure that out. TIA

    I've noticed that you get slightly more "in tune" results if you set the AMS intensity to +25 instead of +24. Do you know why this is? For example, the preset "Sweet Dreams (C3)" is configured this way, but I find it sounds more accurate, pitch-wise on my own step sequences with this value.

    • @narfsounds
      @narfsounds  2 роки тому +2

      That value depends on the intensity setting, I suppose that its not precisely in pitch and those values are as close to being in tune as possible when using the step sequencer

    • @NOUMAEL
      @NOUMAEL Рік тому

      The value of 25 is given in the documentation (parameter guide) and to use steps of 4 as value for each semi tone in the step sequencer.
