My dad is from a northern province so my mom doesn't speak Southern language at home. At schools teachers don't speak Southern language to students either. I know all the vocabulary and understand everything, but I can't speak in the southern accent. Maybe I will ask my mom to help do a lesson. :)

Also used at the START of words when asked like a question, so like แล้วทำไม? (laew tammai? - and why?) and compound words like ที่แล้ว (thilaew - ago, ห้าวันที่แล้ว haa thi laew - 5 days ago).

For what I know is Later: Dieow Koi Dtor(to be used at the end of sentence only) And then/later: Leaw Leaw gor Leaw Koi Just now: Meûa gee Meûa kroo (formal) Meûa kroo Nee However it's not as straightforward as English. Sometimes when I use dieow koi. They wouldn't understand. But when I change to use dtor. They do. So basically I don't understand when should I be using the words at which situation. Lol.
