Kruu Mod, as always, you teach very well and your charisma, natural teaching skills and great role plays you select helps greatly. Your brother is a great actor, kudos and thank you to him too.
Your videos are very helpful. Just the right amount of detail. Having studied Thai a long time ago, these have been perfect refreshers for me. Thank you!
Wonderful lesson, you are a very cool teacher, Thank you so much. It was nice visiting Thailand and surprising people with a little language knowledge that you have taught me for, 5 years now. I don't have a mind for language's but listen repeatedly and stubbornly. I am slowly gaining knowledge with other U tube channels too. Krop Jai lai lai der
Sawatdee ka Christopher, I am happy to hear that you found my lessons useful. Thank you for following my videos for half a decade! Have a wonderful day!
Khru Modt. I have been following you for many years now. I can almost speak Thai. Funny thing: my wife is from Hat Yai, and every day she say "mai yung!". Because I am too much some times. But I always thought she said "dont be a moscito".... hahaha :)
5555 That´s funny :-) The tones are not easy sometimes ยุง (mosquito) middle tone and ยุ่ง (messy) falling tone. Just a little tone mark do the different :-)
Warmest thanks and congratulations too for yet another super helpful video. Moreover you and your brother are very cute together, please ask him to help you out again soon!
Great lesson kruu Mod. This is so ironic. For the last 2 days I was asking Thai people for the Thai translation for "none of your business". I got many different responses. Such as Mai gio gup khun ... Too nice and polite and indirect. Your response is much more direct and accurate.
This is soooo amazing!!! 😻😻😻 Thanks mak mak na Krub Kru Mod 💙💙💙 You are the best! I love your garden at home, sooo fresh!!! 🙌🏼 You’re still very naaa rak maaak even if you’re not well when you shoot this video. Wonderful work 🙏🏼
Excellent lesson. Watched the role-playing over and over again because fast Thai talking is hard. However, in the "favorite sport" video I was able to understand everything in the interview, so that's good. Thai have this funny "ooyyy" when they lose patience: "ooyyy! pie gor dai" - I love it :-)
Hi khru mod. sawatdee khrap. I got shocked maybe long time no see u. I though you had changed your face, you look pretty mahk mahk and your voice is good now. Joking your voice is always beautiful. thanks for new vdeo.
Sawatdee ka Anush (I'm sorry if I got your name wrong), thank you for watching my video and leaving your comment. I am happy you enjoyed the lesson. About my look, I am just older that's all. :P
Nice arm muscles Kru Mod! ;) 555 Thanks for this video. I hope it will not come to a point that I will use these phrases while I'm here in Thailand. 555
Hope you are feeling better Mod. I noticed from the beginning you were not feeling well. Debbie and I really enjoyed this. We do have some very good Thai girl friends so we can hardly wait to surprise them with some of these expressions, but they will laugh just like you did. :) Thank you Kru Mod. :)
Sawatdee ka Khun William, thank you for your comment. I am happy to hear that you and Debbie enjoyed learning something new from this lesson. (I'm getting better now, kop kun ka :) )
Hmm, the last school I worked at in Thailand, my Thai teacher partner told me that if I can’t talk to a student because I’m busy to say “ไปแลย” to them, but when I asked the headteacher he said not to. When I teach next semester I won’t use it because I have been asked to teach Prathom this year and switch from English to social studies
I love the role play videos... they are always entertaining and you seem to have fun making them. 🙂 This is the only video that made me think Kru Mod might be annoying at times! 😅
Thanks Mod, I enjoyed your role play. You skipped over explaining ก็มันอยากดูอ่ะ at 0:56. You translated as "I really want to look". But มัน usually translates to "it". I guess a word-for-word translation might be: "It .. (I) want (to) see". ใช่ไหม?
Sawatdee ka Khun Roy, yes มัน usually means "it". This word is also used for emphasis by putting after a pronoun i.e. ฉันมันคนธรรมดา I am just an ordinary person. I hope this helps.
Kru Mod, there's one expression of "ไป" that I hear quite a lot in some videos. It sounds like เฮอ (this isnt the right one lol). And it's like a particle that urges someone to ไป right away. Would you mind helping me out with that one? I can't sleep well not knowing it. 😅
It's cute to see you pretend to be angry and smile after xD Also, it's crazy that Thai people have at least 5 terms for "I", you, she and he :p Difficult for Thai learners. Also when you make the words shorter and can thus speak faster, so difficulllllt.
In the video "chan" is spelled ชั้น. Isn't it supposed to be spelled ฉัน? Secondly, "dai-mai" in the video is spelled ได้มั้ย. Isn't it supposed to be spelled ได่ไหม? Correct me If I am wrong. Sorry.
You might be thinking of "Leaow", as in Bpai leaow (Go already), Gin leaow (Eat already), Aatit tii leaow (last week), etc. Slightly similar sounds but very different meanings.
Good lesson 👍Speaking of annoying,, I will offer you some feedback. The constant chirping of the bird in the background does not serve as a good listening environment for learning 🙂. From the comments it appears I'm going against the grain with my comment. Thanks
@@ThaiwithModSorry, I didn't express myself well. I like birds chirping, my house is similar to yours and I love it. But my hearing is becoming hard especially when there's a back sound competing. I tried headphones. But still some few sounds aren't clear to me, but it's my fault not yours. How can someone be so cute while angry?? 11:53-12:00 is the cutest😂

I was wondering too. Thank you mak mak, Roy for asking and Kru for explaining!
This is very helpful! When my Thai husband gets on my nerves, I will say ดย่ๅยุ่ง!
If you want to keep it soft, you can say อย่ายุ่งได้มั้ยคะ :)

Miss Mod, must we use the word ของ in คอมพิวเตอร์ของฉัน? Or we can just shorten it to คอมพิวเตอร์ฉัน? Thank you.
I heard it a lot too, sometimes Thai native not use ของ. IMO, it means "belong to", so it's ok to eliminate it and just said คอมพิวเตอร์ฉัน
I often hear them say "mai yung!"
Haha .. Mod I didn't know you had it in you ^-^
Oh no... Kru MOD mai sabai?
Very useful, thanks. แปลกใจที่เห็นครูหมดดูโกรธจังครับ 555 🤪
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
If you are giving a command not to mess with you, why are you adding the uestion particle, daai-maai, at the end?
I think it is more into emphasize the meaning. Like "don't mess with me, can you?" with some anger expression 🙈
In the video "chan" is spelled ชั้น. Isn't it supposed to be spelled ฉัน?
Secondly, "dai-mai" in the video is spelled ได้มั้ย. Isn't it supposed to be spelled ได่ไหม?
Correct me If I am wrong. Sorry.
omg, when I see you with this expression of your face I get really scared haha
Fantastic video but the bird in the backround drives me crazy :)
Finally, Kru Mod teach some impolite words, hehehe... ลำไย 🙈
I didn't know that.
@5:55 i thought it's fan's loose screw LOL
You and your brother said bai g glai bai g glai
👍👍❤️❤️🌹🌹🙏🙏
Another good video. Thanks. I hope to never make you angry in person. Are you Dragon Sign? ;-)
I always thought that "loy" at the end is similar to "already". So "bai loy" would be "go already".

I am not very comfortable to express my anger in front of my camera. - -!!
Your brother should be nicer to his sister, she might have some hot friends.
ไทย girl's love to be treated like that.. :)
Hmmmm your gooooood. 👍
My friends are hot, but Mink would think they are too old for him. I've seen him only dates girls who are younger. :P
With older ไทย girls he would have to at least treat them for an ice cream...
If we used these words, we’ll get kicked in the face....
That lesson was great, but the background 🐦 chirp robbed the scene, or rather the sound.
I am sorry the bird chirping was unavoidable. My house is surrounded by trees, the only room that I don't hear birds is in the bathroom. -_-"
