Yet it seems I will not be there to watch it.” The Arisen finally broke the cycle of the greater will, and by doing so set a new tale in motion. One that’s not preordained and lets the world find its own way.
This is one of the most unsatisfying final bosses I’ve ever seen
I’m like 99.9% sure there has to be a secret ending. There is way, way, way too much movement freedom for an end game situation like that. There has to be an item or some form of mechanic that can be done along it all. There’ll definitely be some form of something that comes out for it eventually

The whole side goal of the true end section is evacuating the main towns, and the hub area builds up as you do so. So I'm half wondering if evacuating everyone and doing all the side objectives in this section is required to get the real ending.
@@MrRandomTurboHDRemix Nope, I've evacuated everyone in NG+ and tried using the Godsbane on myself at key points. This is the real ending and that's it.
@@PillzShillz I feel like they really hid an ending, even beneath that. Almost like an easter egg that nobody will find for awhile. It just feels so shitty for it to end off like that. And seeing that the games are treated as seperate instances (For the most part) I just don’t see what they achieve by leaving it like that. For everybody to just feel it’s so bare bones. From my understanding, myself and majority of the community; it just leaves a “bad” cliffhanger. At the same time, I’m not sure what other resolution would be beyond the current endings. But it’s just that “Oh… okay? That’s it? Alright then.” Rather then the usual satisfaction of the wrapup.

Wait a minute, MainPawn is your actual “main pawn”… If so, I’ve been using your “main pawn” in my group from level 12 to 48 and have her favored. Such a small world
His Pawn is called Mainpawn is because he didnt give her a name. Just like his Arisen doesnt have a name and its called Arisen. I know alot of people forgot to name their pawns and now have a "mainpawn". Unless she has the same face, then you might just got a mainpawn from someoneelse that forgot to give a name.
So I would say this person does act like me. When I played DD1, my arisen's name is Arisen and my main pawn is Pawn. I did not even use a word main pawn. I only said Pawn. If I were to see GamersPrey in person, I would say hey GamersPrey, look at what I called my arisen and my main pawn. GamersPrey is choosing the name the way how I would do it. I call my arisen Arisen because that is what all the NPCs call the them. I know the NPC call arisen by title so mind as well use it as a name just to force the NPC to call the arisen by real name. So by naming my arisen Arisen, then all the NPC would have to call my arisen by their names and titles.
What is your purpose here, Arisen? If you sought to live you had naught but run and hide yourself away. But then, tell me, child of man... what does it mean to live in truth? To wage war against the passing days? To pray to the unseen for a few breaths more? To raise grand cities from stone, and spawn new life in turn? Mankind has done this, yes, and more. But is the tapestry you weave truly of your own design?
Their kind is easy to fathom, they go on living from simple fear of death. But not mankind. Some welcome the end with arms outstretched, while others come to face death incarnate, arms in hand. I ask again, what is your purpose here Arisen?
One path to your survival, lies in my defeat. Still my heart, and you stay the coming end. Another path before you... is to offer up that which you hold most dear. Abandon all delusions of control.
For the price of a single life, I shall leave this land in peace. As my "vanquisher", the duchy would bow to you. Wealth and power are sweet anodyne for heartache. You'll not gainsay my terms are more than generous. If it matters aught, the man who rules this land now won that honor through just such a bargain.

Enemy variety is severely lacking in this game

Wait... That's it? DD1 had amazing final boss and I was really excited for DD2 Seneshal fight. And there is none? Big disappointment. This endings are mess tbh.

One of my favorite game franchises ever, but idk if I can justify buying 2 rn. It looks like they treated it like totk and just reused the same enemies, skills, vocations, etc. I mostly just want to play it for the graphical upgrade, but I might wait for a bitterblack isle equivalent.

@@av799 That was an inconsiderate thing to say. A lot of storytelling involves depressing endings, these days. Of course, a lot of people are tired of these bleak stories. We use these games for escapism. Some of us are looking for happy endings because we need hope to cope with our own lives.

Wdym by another? In the first game the pawn changes their places, trade a soul for a soul, so that the master could live, that was a great ending. This one is not, tbh.
why didnt they do it like in the first game where the final boss is the old arisen.

I cant seem to get the elves to come to the sunken shrine. nor can i find any guide on what to do. they refuse to move till the arbor heart is healed XD
i just spoke 3-4x with the elven chief, he got new dialogue every time and at the end he gave in and moved

Well you can't continue after you get the ending. It will just lead you back to the main menu either load from last save to get other endings or new game plus

Figured. Well kinda! I absolutely didn’t use grab option the whole play through so I kinda forgot and killed Disa but the quest ain’t progressing and I saw grab and took her body to Sven cuz I had few Wakestones and Sven started cursing then I reloaded the save and grabbed her while she’s alive

Wow there isn’t an ever fall bruh that sucks I thought at least they would change the ever fall to be more rewarding and put it at the end but nope they took the system completely out lol
Everfall was great! A final gauntlet of hard (and many new!) enemies. Most of the best fights were there.
Bitterblack was a waaaay better dungeon/finale but I really enjoyed Everfall too. Plus holy hell it’s atmospheric! The hopelessness and the music, it’s awesome!

@@_CrimsonBlade yeah. I gave the first game a bit of a pass because it was an original IP and their first try at open world RPG like this. Given the first game's development hell, it's understandable that lots of contents are cut. But the sequel should be complete on launch, especially it's a 12 year gap from the 1st game's release date. This is just BS. At this point, i suspect that they intentionally cut things up for DLC

@@guikoi3101 There's no final boss fight. It's just a cutscene, which is quite a terrible way to end a game likely due to budget reasons. The story can be written however they want to be "complete", but the content takes effort.
This game looks more like a remake than a sequel. Everything is identical to the first game, even the dragon fight and the cutscenes lol

Im disapointed in Dragon fight.12r ago it was verry cool but this looks worst. I was expecting something like Fatalis from MHW or Midir in DS3 even Plasidusax was mutch cooler.
Honestly, the dragon fight does look cool. Also, they are different games so you should evaluate the fight on it's own merits.
I think this game strikes a good balance between cinematic feel and gameplay. Like 10% cinematic and 90% gameplay. Whereas Fatalis and Midir are all gameplay.
@@zarudosdragis8963 I dont agree , Fatalis have cool cutscene epick attacks like he burns whole castle and midir has the laser attack. And about that 90% gameply :D , he dos not have any attacks that you need to learn or something you just hit him . Gamplay dos not reward thinking or cerful positions, which is strange because they said that DD2 will have havy focus on that. But yeah thats just my opinion I like dragons and talk about them thats all. If you like it thats awesome.

So let me get this straight. You have to pay to make a new character after your first and the game feels incomplete lacking a proper ending and lacking post game content similar to DD1 even before the expansion. Wow and just like that my hype is gone

the game is like 20 hour long if you skip everything and they dare to charge us with 70$ with tons of mtx and 20 fps in town holy fk capcon are on whole another lvl

they charge 10 dollars more due to inflation. It was 60 dollars for the 15 years before they started charging just 10 dollars more.
