You make everything look so easy. Id lose at least 1 fishing pole just dragging the yak to the water, and without a doubt id be soaking wet before making a single cast which would probably be into the trees 😂😂 sweet video and have a great weekend 🇺🇸 🎣

I've fished all my life, all over the east coast. I've caught muskie, Northern, huge large mouth in fla. and MY opinion is smallmouths, especially river smallmouths are the hardest fighting and most fun fish that swims!!

I’ve caught a few of my biggest smallies throwing the largest size whopper plopper for Muskie. Sometimes downsizing is good but often times they will crush the bigger baits just as hard.

That’s awesome! They’re a lot of fun to fish too! One thing I’ve always thought with the Whopper Plopper is color isn’t all that important, it’s the noise and commotion that draws in bites.

@@ndyakangler I disagree only because the bluegill plopper i have, I caught 30 in 3 hours, and with the googan revolver thats kind of blackish brown, I maybe get one fish on and the googan is pretty loud. I also think it was the yellow plopper on the r2s plopper that caused the strikes. That bright color seems to get them going.

A nice day, a gorgeous river,…and a wonderful fun on the smallies with a largie as a tip. Quite a rush of adrenaline at the moment and a lot of dopamine for the following hours.
Matt´ s fishing videos make my day. I even “fly “ over to ND and Minnesota from Spain via Google Earth trying to find the locations of those fishing paradises simply out of curiosity since our friend, quite understandably, won ˋt reveal them. I wouldn ´t reveal the exact locations either. I am even becoming familiar with a little of ND geography! Matt ˋs “headquarters” might be at Fargo…(lol).
Anyway, one more superb fishing video. As far as coarse fishing (I mean other than salmon and trout by “coarse”, no offense intended) goes, Matt is my number one youtuber.

What beautiful small rivers you have access to. I have four different Rivers within 15 MI. Of course they all converge at some point local. Smallmouth fishing used to be great but has waned in recent years. I remember when you could go out and catch at least a dozen every time. Now you're lucky to get two in an afternoon. Anyway good stuff as always . Catching up on the videos I missed while away. I forward to the next
