So, technically total war: LOTR is possible? There are licensed miniatures and rulebooks, so, they could be used in videogame.

@@Dinovart try the medieval 2 third age mod with the sub mod divide and conquer. It’s the closest we will get to a full lotro game. You could also try attila dawnless days mod but that is still in working progress.

GW is not a videogame company...
other companies with GW licences do Warhammer videogames. this makes no sense. A LOTR video game shoudl just involve the company behing the game (Total War is its own line of games) and the licence holder (New Line, Middle Earth Enterprises etc.)

The only way Total War: LOTR would be possible is if Embracer (rights holder) contracted some kind of deal with SEGA (owner of Creative Assembly - Total War developers).
Games Workshop has nothing to do with it, nor do these miniatures or rulebooks.

All of those Krieg reveals from Friday have really put me in a mood to paint the Krieg Kill Team. I can't wait to see those guys get a repackaged release, not to mention some of the others sill missing in action like the Fellgor Ravagers or the Navy Breachers.

That stuff for lord of the rings is great but im just wondering when we are gonna get a re-release for the gaunts ghosts audio books salvations reach and the warmaster with Toby longworth. Because having the first 12 books voiced by that voice over God among men only to suddenly change to james McPherson in the 13th (salvations reach) and James Cameron Stewart in the 14th (The Warmaster) can throw you off like a pissed off bull at a rodeo.
