@@engr.007 difference between pakistan and england. 200k rupees is roughly £600 and rent in england is £1000 monthly. Pakistan is very cheap and better
I agree with uncle. Expenses are so high and everyone is struggling. Teachers salary uncle mentioned 30k minimum but in rawalpindi you don't believe its 15k minimum for graduates. It's not like that they are not earning, the fees are so high but when they have to hire a teacher with good education they didn't pay well that effects the education.
In 15k these days girls can barely get a single wedding dress. It's a pity I've seen females going to jobs where their travelling expense is double than that of salary they get. It sucks to be in Pakistan for mainstream type of jobs.
just to clarify uncle saying too expensive is right but f10 is also an expensive sector the apartment in centre of Islamabad are expensive for sure 40 50k rupees is on the lower end of the rent in a less safe neighborhood if you want to go to f10 and live in an apartment rents can reach 150 250k even 500k for an apartment if its really nice if you move further away to maybe bahria town which is 40 mins away by drive then you can find a good apartment with less rent like 20k 30k ( also factor in fuel price which is around 1 90c-1dollar per liter now days ( more expensive than even the US)
With a rent of 90k and considering your overall expenses, I assume your salary is over 300k. At this point, you could probably afford to buy your own home! I’m not sure if you have a family or not, but if you lowered your standards a bit and saved at least 50k per month, you could soon have enough for a house. I’m genuinely amazed that people with such high salaries don’t invest in their own property. Apologies if this came across as too forward-I was just sharing my opinion
The first two guys were from a village in District Islamabad, they were talking about the bare minimum rate of the village and the money required for a house owner. The second guy was correct for the bare minimum in Rawalpindi, or the border between poor and lower-middle class family. The Auntie didn't understand your question properly so she was mostly talking about random thing, and almost no private company pays that much, and such companies employ the majority of people these days. The uncle was from the upper class so he didn't actually know the ground realities of how low people actually earn, only that people were struggling these days. The second-last guy didn't even factor in rent but was otherwise correct for a middle-class lifestyle for a single person if you have a nice-enough(okay) house which a single person almost never does in Pakistan, but he was talking about living in your family house and only taking care of personal expenses comfortably, not bills, basic groceries etc. Only the guy at the end was completely correct for a middle class lifestyle for both Islamabad and Lahore for a single person.
@@pakistanmastermapping hahaha, in what way? besides a few things which come from the north, everything from food to Houses and Flats to electronics to Landa(especially landa) is cheaper in Karachi. You need 30K for bills if you have 3 rooms & few necessary appliances, rent is around 20K to 30K & you need 30K for grocery so for events, emergencies, basic health cure, education expenses, convence you need 40K more... So approximately over 1 lac to 1.5 lac is enough for middle class little families ... For poor families they're living in 20K to 50K by compromising many things... Inflation is high and government is bombing through new taxes on everything... So common man can't survive if he don't find any work or wage...
True Islamabad is hell expansive and even if you own house, you need 5 lakh at-least just the basic life it also includes maintaining house, cars and schooling fees. Everyday 8k-15k just to pass the day and if you want to buy something than get ready for heavy bills
😮I don't understand how they are saying 45000 I think to have a reasonable good life in Pakistan for husband and wife is minimum 200000 (two hundred thousand ) especially in Islamabad ...I'm assuming you live on rent and paying 40000
You need to do this interview again, with people who are married and are living in islamabad. Good video. The numbers these people are giving seems like they are living a very low level lifestyle! $200-300 per month is ridiculous unless you share your rent, do nothing in life & just live! Actual numbers should be a much higher. At least $1000-1500 is the correct number for an individual (with full privacy & no sharing) lifestyle. Thats means Rs 300,000-500,000+ is the minimum for a middle class + lifestyle. Luxury starts at Rs. 1,000,000 at minimum! (Thats around $3000)
If you earn atleast 500,000 rupees. You can live happily in Pakistan. Less than that and you will have to struggle.
Also depends on what type of standard you want, for some people 100k seems to be good enough according to their need
