There are many many more linkages that for some odd reason either are snickered at or laughed at.... And I think the normal people among the Pakistanis just gave up trying.... And the normal people among the British just felt they weren't "integrating" enough.
After 911 any sense of mutual respect went out of the window when western media decided to smear Islam and Muslims in the West in particular.

It is our tradition to give respect to a woman, it is very common here when you are standing in a queue and a woman came we give preference to her by withdrawing and let her go first. Even on a Petrol Pump and some biker came with a woman riding with him, we will let him refuel first. There are so many examples. you do have a problem with staring at people though..... you do it so blatantly that you don't even hide it, you just lock your eyes and stare, which makes people very uncomfortable..

Good to hear that you had great experience in Islamabad. Having been lived here in Manchester (UK) over the past 17 years, I believe that good and bad people are everywhere. And i realized pakistan safer than india. I have did pilgrimage in india last year, 90% moments i had in india its bad and i was mad to them, even not all people are bad, but unfortunately i cant go pilgrimage again in next year after the incident with spanish lady in india. so traumatic, blessed from god i havent got it when i was there😢, but actually almost happened.

The best advice for anyone wishing to travel to Pakistan is to learn the local culture and custom such as modest dress to avoid any offence and unnecessery attention before they travel. It is also ideal to learn some Urdu words/phrases to communicate. English is understood by a significant proportion of the population, however it is not used to communicate except by the rich elite class. Solo travel is something new to Pakistan. Many local people will stare at tourists, not to scam them but purely out of curiosity as it may just be the first time they may have met a foreign person. The stares can feel very uncomfortable as itt is deemed rude in the west but for the local population it's just an unfortunate habit.

@@OTWD_yt Pakistans previous governments have done very little to promote tourism due to the dire security situation since the 2001 US war/invasion of its western neighbour Afghanistan. The fallout had serious consequences for Pakistan as it had been dragged into it due to the open porous border between the two neighbours. Corruptions and incompetent people in senior positions also played its part.
Other regional nations such as India, Sri Lanka and Nepal have flourished with tourism. Pakistans tourism is decades behind, probably explains as to why the locals react when the see non Pakistanis in thier local bazaars, shops & community. Nonetheless Pakistan is a huge diverse nation with +240 million people. 10 million Pakistanis live across the world with large communities scattered across western Europen (UK has 1.5 million, some are third and fourth generation).Others have settled in North America, Africa, Gulf Arab states, South East Asia & Australia/New Zealand.

You have to give these people a benefit of the doubt as well......... it probably is their first time seing a white blond woman so they just dont know how to react or interact and you could see the shoe shop guy was a bit shy as well and it did not have anything to do with treating you unequally or some thing (in my opinion Pakistanis are alot more shy as compared to the people in the west, so you have to take this in consideration as well)

Even Pakistanis who aren't serial bargainers, especially men don't bargain when we think that the price is fair and just leave if the price is too unfair to bother with bargaining, and as a rule, bargaining is upwards from the customer price or sometimes static to the customer or shop price when one party stubbornly sticks to their price. Plus Pakistanis usually give lower rates to foreigners anyways near their cost. Too much bargaining can lead to their loss. don't bargaining too much when the price seems fair.
In this instance he might have sold you the necklace for 450 if you stuck with your original bargaining price of 450, but you guys changed it to 400 midway, lower than your initial bargaining price, which is not only a sign of a serial bargainers but outright disrespectful.
It was more for the video to get the interaction sort of the purpose of the video not out of disrespect. If you watch our video you’ll know that we literally over pay for everything we can without trying to be rude

I haven't watched all of your videos but yes you have overpaid before but overpaying is equally wrong as it encourages bloated foreigner rates (which don't exist in Pakistan) and scammers, just pay normally.
Plus If you are still in Islamabad then you should live near a metro stop, a lot of places can be visited via the metrobus system, especially the Bazars, although it has been getting too overcrowded to be convenient.
...ever since the PTI government (which raised the ticket prices) was removed because they now run fewer buses to cut the costs that they previously over-inflated themselves when they built the metros.
