Happy Birthday! Loved watching you create with your Mom. Warms my heart! If y'all could, I would love to see the finished piece after you do your drawing art work. 🙂
Elliott Happy Birthday 🎂 🥳 The Big 10, double digits!!! You are almost as tall as your mom! I think your painting turned out really cool, but if your not happy with it I hope you do it again and consider this painting as practice. I really enjoyed this video 😊
I absolutely love it. It dried magnificently. WISHING HIM A WONDERFUL 10TH BIRTHDAY 🎉❤. * also want to add how impressed I was with his layers as seeing the green and orange which neutralizes making brown, i don't think he put those 2 on top of one another in any cups. * I would love to try this with a cell activator dumped into the center of each cup. GREAT JOB.
Thank you! Yes he had a good knack for layering the cups. It seemed like the top layer of each cup stayed on top, so maybe it would work well with the cell activator on top??
I just subscribed! Loved watching the process. Maybe try the same colors again but replace the magenta with a cadmium red. I think that would give him his fall and more “boy” colors 😊. Having said that, I think his splat painting turned out great!!! Can’t wait to see more.
Elliot is a natural with the camera! and needs another video with Attempt #2. Will he be using the Sennelier 3D Liners? It could help bring across that New England autumn vibe, which I felt he was aiming toward. You, Anna, did a great job yourself - masking your inner twitch at the mess, and just letting Elliott do his thing. I wish acrylic pouring had been a thing when my boys were younger. At the risk of being invasive (and you can delete my comment if I offend), I'm wondering if Elliot has ever listened to Stryper. They're an American Christian rock band that was popular when I was growing up. I still find their vinyl records when I shop; and I got one for a Tween niece a few Christmases ago.
Hi Rebekah, thank you! Not sure what he will use to add to this one…maybe just markers and we will skip the varnish. And yes, it’s hard to coach when he doesn’t have the same feel for the tools as I do! But I really did want him to be able to do it all himself. I’ve never listened to Stryper, but I’ll look them up!
He did a great job, despite the momming. Sometimes it's better to learn from an artist who isn't your own parent because the criticism and controlling isn't helpful. It's not cleaning your room; it's art. If anyone thought this was messy they would be mortified by my process.
Happy birthday 🎉🎉🎉

Well Elliot I call that a win. I love the magenta. You can always try the brown again with maybe or shades like a caramel or something
It was fun for sure! Might try again with thinner paint…
Happy birthday bud! I have a 10 year old that I wish would paint with me. Love this painting tho! Great job!
Thank you!

Yes that would give it more of a fall feel!
