69 GOALS SCORED, 48 GAMES PLAYED, AND 5 DIFFERENT COMPETITIONS.
2007 / 2008 was certainly an action packed season for Rovers with twists, turns and the tension that only Premier League football can deliver.
Roque rolled in from the Bundesliga, and set an Ewood Park alight with his South American style and a glut of great goals. Steven Reid returned from a nightmare injury lay-off to re-establish himself at the heart of the Rovers' midfield, and Tugay continued as only Tugay can, delighting the crowds with his effervescent personality and inimitable skill.
We came within a whisker of Europe again, said goodbye and good luck to a departing manager, and welcomed a new man to Ewood's managerial hot-seat.
And all before the 2008/2009 Season had even started.
Roll on August.
I watched Blackburn back then purely just to see Santa Cruz play. He was absolutely class

@@lordoftheworld9589 I check eBay every day for almost a year, looking for any VHS or DVDs I don’t have. So if someone ever puts one for sale, I’ll buy it. I’ve got 2009/10 and “Bring on the Clarets” in the mail to me now, so they’ll be on here soon hopefully.
