Having a day like that on the water is something that will stick with you for many moons. Nice work guys.
Nothing like catching and keeping over your single person limit and posting it on UA-cam
Awesome video.. Thanks again for the great tips! I tried this for my first time outside of Duluth last year.
Another great video. I cant believe the size difference in Coho on Lake Superior vs Lake Ontario.
Were going to have to get out there and see for ourselves!!
Can’t wait to get out man! Nice work
Great work I can’t wait to go fishing
This channel is great. I've never seen Lake Superior from this perspective.
I'll give you some thin fin, fish, history. Storm = thin fin, Brad's = thin fish. Before rapala bought out storm in the late 90's, they made something called a rattlin thin fin. It was wider then their current thin fin and had rattles. Rapala then discontinued (for some strange reason) the rattling version of this lure in the storm line after they took over. Brad's copied the old pre rapala mold and made the similarly named thin fish to cash in on a void in the market. They even copied most of the old storm colors. The old storm baits are far superior in construction to Brad's version though. Much beefier plastic, more durable paint, a two part mold, and lead rattles. Many trolling veterans say these old baits out fish Brads by a wide margin so it's time to raid Dad and Grandpa's tackle box!
Boom! What else could a guy possibly need to know! Thanks for the info!
Just started watching your videos a few days ago I’m from Connecticut and have to go to Maine to get lake trout which is fun but I want to come up and fish with you guys on Lake superior and get some monsters as well as get some Coho’s
Got my limit yesterday! Tasty!
Nice. Where you on the Duluth side? I've never coho fished before and would like to give it a try this weekend if the weather holds up. I'm a walleye fisherman and have the boat and gear to go after coho if they are shallow. Any tips for the Duluth area? I plan to launch there
@@jwill9877 I was in my kayak out of Washburn pulling stick baits in bright colors. No need for a depth finder, just fish the surface. They are right behind the spawning smelt.
Sweet vid man were you out there Friday, Saturday, or Sunday?
This was filmed on April 20th.
Superior Angling just missed ya.
Why do you run the bird and marcum? What is the benefit of the marcum?
The benefit is another sonar/gps on our dash at essentially no cost. We use this unit in the wintertime as our flasher, so why have it sit in the garage all summer when you could simply mount it on your boat and have another 9 inch screen altogether. Having one unit with GPS and another screen with only sonar is awesome to have.
Did you post a picture of a huge lake superior brown trout recently?
meat harvest
Know of any good maps chips for the north shore? Every map chip I have seen for the north shore sucks..
How fast are you trolling?
What size mono do you load your reels with?
dinks.
