      Forsure, it's alot less stress on the fish with a larger net where they can lay flat.

    James you guys are great. I live on the St Joseph River in Michigan, there's great Steelhead action now. We target Jack Coho in Lake Michigan while they are in close. Of course we pick up Browns, Kings and Lakers also as we are very blessed with fishing opportunities in this area. As it might be, if I were to invite you to fish with me right now, it would be "Motown Madness". I see your love for big eyes, come on over to the Detroit...now, I'll guarantee you won't be disappointed.

    Great show! I think the water temp is gonna keep those brutes fishable for a while there now! That snow storm going on is incredible! 🎣👊🏼

      Question, why don’t you guys use bait casters? Big fish and pretty big baits just curious.

      Yes it is the walleye bite was hot on the fox before this storm now the river will be muddy and fast. I'm thinking the bite will be really slow.

      The storm here in Michigan has flooded the creeks and rivers and dumped two feet of snow up north again.

      Almost 20 inches here and opening trout is May 5th and with all the snow up north looks like I'll be ice fishing.

    Love this show. I'd like to see your crew fish Utah's side of Flaming Gorge, Bear Lake, or Lake Powell.

    The first fish looked like it was a stocked fish. It appeared that it had it's fin clipped

  • @sparky-pp4dq

    I noticed that a few of the fosh caugh during the show were fin clipped. How often does the local DNR or whoever does the stocking program, stock Browns into Lake Michigan?? and how many do they generally stock in a year?? Great show guys!!

    Some sweet fish, but learn how to handle them so they'll survive when released. Hands in the gill plate = dead fish. Even if you're not touching the gills you're doing a lot of damage by holding a fish by the gill plate.

    • @InDepthOutdoorsTV
      @InDepthOutdoorsTV  5 років тому +2

      I'm sorry, but I completely disagree with the statement that holding a fish by the gill plate equals a dead fish. I do agree that all anglers should do everything in their power to care for their fish properly if they plan to release it.

    • @mqeqeshe1
      @mqeqeshe1 5 років тому +1

      Hahahaha, because you disagree that makes it not true. Got it. I'm sure the crayfish appreciated you feeding them those nice browns.

    • @InDepthOutdoorsTV
      @InDepthOutdoorsTV  5 років тому +1

      No, but countless examples of people catching the same fish multiple times over the span of months or years, after holding it by the gill plates each time prior to release, does make you wrong.

      @@mqeqeshe1 Just because you say it is true doesn't make it true either. Can you site some actual scientific evidence proving what you say?
