John is a great guy. I had a question about a Lynx I bought secondhand, so I called Bad Cat and left a message, and John personally returned my call to try to help me out. Really glad to see some cool new stuff coming from them this year!
Pete's playing at the bringing,....man. I've owned a Bad Cat Lynx 50 (they don't make it anymore) since 2009 that I bought brand new. Probably my favorite amp I've ever owned. Had an issue with it in 2012. I shipped it out to them, they fixed and gave me a lifetime warranty all for $195. Really great CS (I dealt with a guy named Brian,..not sure if he's still with the company). Anyway, great amps and a stellar company. That hybrid Cub amp/desktop amp w/IRs, etc looks very intriguing.
Btw they just came out with a USA Player Series version of the lynx called the Lynx X. It has an expanded clean channel, only weighs 33lbs, and is only $1500 brand new

As a Bad Cat owner, I'm excited to try the new Paw. I currently have a little Vox MV50 Boutique head that use as a simple little rig when I don't want to power up the tube amps, but the Paw looks like a major step up from that while retaining the Bad Cat tone that I love so much.

Had a Hotcat30R head and 2x30 cab back in...2009. sold it after 4 years. I'd love a Lynx! now I can maybe get the new Lynx player series from Andertons on finance! Not a fan of Andertons anymore though, even though I've spent thousands with them over the years, I swore I'd never use them again, their Customer service and shipping is so laid back and slow its like their all stoned. friendly but in no rush to get things done. last 4 orders I've had to cancel due to them "forgetting" to put it out for shipping or "damaged" on a 2K Synth , "do I still want it its just a scratch?" to item in stock I paid almost 2K for them to email me a day later to say they cant get that item for another 7 months then wait ages for a refund and then got it next day (sunday) from somwhere else. can't be just bad luck on my part. theres a lot more over the years I'm not happy with esp with checking Guitars over before shipping. Might give them another chance.......just because of BADCAT
Could honestly just be your luck mate, bought loads of stuff off them and never had any issues. Saying that we’re looking at a sample size of 2 people so neither of us know if I was lucky or you weren’t.
Bad Cat has worst customer service in the business. 3 or 4 years ago I bought an Unleash V2 and had an issue with it about 2 weeks in. Tried to contact them for 6 months. Never got a reply. Not 1. Sold it on eBay as “not working for parts and repair”.. Lost $300. I was pretty sure they were closed down. I’m shocked to see they’re still in business. I highly recommend against dealing with this company.
You’re a sample size of 1, just because your experience wasn’t great doesn’t mean it’s not the outlier and making a statement that a company has the worst customer service in the business by using only your experience is a little disingenuous.

I stated you may have had a bad experience with them, but because you had issue doesn’t mean everyone will so stating a company has the worst customer service in the business isn’t necessarily true, we would need a much larger sample size to determine that. If you had made the statement more “in my experience their customer service isn’t good” nobody could disagree with your opinion because it’s your opinion on something you have direct knowledge of, making a blanket statement is different because people will have had good experiences with them (there’s a few posting here that have)
I am very sorry for your experience. Not sure how someone could try and contact us for six months unsuccessfully. We answer many emails every day and personally pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service. We have fixed every Unleash sent to us and returned them as quickly as possible. Sometimes trade shows and production can get in the way but we always try to stay in communication .
