Demolition by implosion of the 18-story Holiday Inn in Arlington, Virginia, on December 13, 2020. It will be replaced by towers that will be twice as tall.

1900 Fort Meyer Drive in Roslyn.
Stayed there once almost 30 years ago. Was a very nice hotel at the time. Had a nice view of Georgetown University, the National Cathedral, and the National Shrine Basilica

At 1:19 you can see the fuse travelling across, inside the building if you look in the windows on the 8th floor. Cool Implosion though.

*Great video!* Watching huge buildings being brought down in such an explosive, deafening, and powerful, but yet a highly technical and delicate operation never gets old! I loved the slow-motion! *_If I could spend my life just going to demolition sites and witnessing this destruction each day I would be a very happy man!_*
It must be a real adrenaline rush to be part of the explosive crew - the experts who set the explosives, wired it all, he/she who initiates the blasting, *and the company owner/s who is ultimately responsible for any kind of failure!*
