Just from this review the dad is one of my favorite characters.

The art style and gameplay are fantastic but what stole the show for me is the music, truly nothing like it
It is my only gripe is that for that skateboard combos, they don't stop when you stop tricking there is a bar and it's just a very small nitpick thing to say, but I'm used to playing skateboarding games where the combo ends when you stop tricking. The animation is very pretty though
This game is amazing and plucks the emotional string for first generation South Asian immigrant experience perfectly . The family member NPCs have different emotions and reactions that capture the household dynamic perfectly.

Both Starfield and Spider-man 2 are shallow, conventional, and come with no shortage of precedent. For the most part, you should know what you’re getting with both of those. This seems way more unorthodox and thus requires a lot more explanation

In 2023 our media has long progressed in terms of representation. The constant reference feels like we're back in 2008.

Nothing wrong with a game that focuses on different cultures. But saying that non-white characters is a high light, quite frankly, has nothing to do with the quality of the game and you are a pos for saying it.
Tbh as an Indian American it’s nice to see other different minorities highlighted in the story. Especially how they show off the culture but without stereotyping themselves
