Breath work really helps too. Every inhale and exhale elevates your heart beat and gives you oxygen. Focusing on an activity will produce a certain breathing rhythm, often you end up exhaling a lot, and breathing too shallow. Become conscious of this and you can use your breath as the reigns to your awareness and energy. Lately in the morning I’ve been dealing with that drowsy brain fog that makes you want to fall back asleep, and to combat it, I begin hyperventilating purposefully, in and out short quick breaths to make my heart beat faster and then every 6th breath or so, I inhale as deeply as I can and then hold. Then repeat process like 3 times. Sometimes though I’m in such a brain fog that I’m not thinking at all. This is a little trickier. For this I think the only thing that works for me is meditating before sleep and giving my intentions for how long I want to sleep and when I NEED to wake up, and when I’m thinking about when I need to, (and I say need vs want) I intentionally give myself “anxiety” and induce the feeling of panic that: “I need to wake up at this time, my life depends on it” or something similar to that, and it causes my brain to feel that anxiety right when I first open my eyes, and that will shake me out of brain fog. And I literally put anything that pops on my head in there. It's so quick with a phone. And yes, I make sure I cross them all off.
I work in a sushi bar and can agree about the "multi tasking". The best way how to manage everything (at least in kitchen) is to do it in the right sequence.

My life has DEFINITELY changed for the better since I stopped social media like FB Instagram ect. Because I came to the thought that hey if I want someone to know what I'm doing I'll CALL them...anything other than that feels like an invasion of my privacy and I've noticed I've completed a ton of stuff that would normally take me weeks sometimes months to finish lol I'm still shocked to this day about it, this guy needs a prize of some sort no joke lol
I agree 100% with this guy.
I've known a lot of it way before I saw the video.
Cell phones are shit.
Sit up straight. Don’t use devices for first hour of the day. Don’t multitask. Take showers. Read books.

The last quote about egg had a greater effect on my mind than the whole video.
Well I'm sorry for you dude
That quote was the whole point of this video.
TBH, that quote is narrowly targeted. If it was that easy to set yourself free from all those bad things that, you think (and/or they're proven), are making you less productive. You have to deal with mind activity, not physical.
I have already learnt one thing from him, and I wrote it on my calendar to keep the first hour without messages, telephone etc. I am going to do that from tomorrow morning. Decided. Thank you.

I rarely watch TV. I use UA-cam to learn new things instead, but always ditch the phone 3hrs before I go to bed.
Best thing to do in the morning, for everyone, is to have a nice shower in the morning. Switch to cold water for a little while before you get out.
me too, I don't watch tv that much and rarely used fb, I also kinda feel relief that my phone got broken and its been months now I only use messenger and have access to usual messaging apps, I'm now focused on the online courses that will move the needle in my professional career and personal dev and recently started sketching as it is one of my hobbies back in a day.

I'm just not entirely sure how to actually "win" it. For now - I do workout and some cleaning up. But it doesn't make me as productive during the day as just jumping straight into problem solving still wearing pyjamas.
