  • The Bow is an International Fitting Limb (so it clicks together) hunting recurve. We compare this bow to other hunting recurve bows on price.
    We shoot the bow and let you know how it compares.

    I really appreciate your channel and especially this video! I'm not a serious archer. I have a Black Hunter (or two) that I use for recreational shooting on occasion, but archery isn't my primary or even secondary hobby. These incredibly affordable bows are just the thing for casuals like me.
    I'd been looking at the Tbow for a while because of the price point and design and now I'll get one.

      @@huntinglife5202 Maybe the limbs are junk, I've not tried those. I have the riser and use it with long carbon/wood KAP limbs. There is no hand shock at all, with no stab/dampening or string silencers it is surprisingly quiet.
      It is a cast riser, so I'm not sure if I would recommend it at the 50lb you can order it at, but my 34lb limbs come in around 40lb on the 19" riser and it feels solid and have had no issues.

    • @hanlin9320
      @hanlin9320 4 роки тому +7

      people say that the riser may even better than the original for it is machined and not cast machined, but the limbs are not good at all. People shouldn't buy this if they want to support Hoyt. But for those who can't afford a Hoyt and really dig in the looks I don't see why not. It's not right to do this but it gives the poor an option.

    • @mrnice752
      @mrnice752 4 роки тому +4

      @@hanlin9320 I already own two Hoyt target risers, and multiple sets of Hoyt limbs, they have plenty of my money and support. I bought the TBOW riser as a fun recreational bow to take into the woods and not worry about damaging it. I'm sure it is a cast riser, not CNC machined like the original, but it's well made and plenty strong enough.

    Hey Steven, I just watched your review of the TBow “Satori”. I think you are bang on with this review. I’ve been into trad archery for about a year now in order to rehab a shoulder injury. I dare not pull my 67 lbs hunting compound bow quite yet. As it happens my two favourite drawing recurves are my Hunters Niche Predator Classic 60” recurve and a close second is my TBow “Satori” with short #45 lbs Uukha Gobi limbs. My DL is 27”. Sweet drawing bows.

    • @Arraia63
      @Arraia63 5 років тому +7

      @@Buran01 I examined the Hoyt Satori in a shop and couldn´t find any difference between the two. Even the plastic or rubber coating of the tiller bolt is the same, the screw of the limb alignment (10.9), the rough surface coating, the deburring, the bevels, everything seems to be the same. But the second riser that I ordered for my brother (from China to Germany) and came in July 2019 had a different coating, now smooth, and the deburring was less accurate, but not bad. When I show the riser to my local dealers, they all say: But the material must be worse. - Al 7075!? - Don´t know, I´m shooting it with 48lbs draw weight, and I´m excited.

    Is amazing how in your W&W Black Wolf review you talk about how has much better finish than the Hoyt in both the riser and the limbs and yet here you're flattering the finish of riser and limbs of a bow which is nothing but the Hoyt Satori (rebranded, because seems that as happens with some of the PSE recurves, Hoyt is outsorcing the production of the Satori in China). Talking about cognitive disonance.... But I'm not saying that the bow is bad at all (indeed, seems a nice bow and only the Hoyt bag and the better string arming is missed). I'm just saying that sometimes a product you review is portrayed as desiderable/skippable just based in which ones you have. Your reviews are truly good and extensive, but sometimes I feel that are also tainted by biass.

      @@dylanm8145 I think you're right (at least about the in-house made of the Satori by Hoyt). Not sure about the quality: currently some brands from USA and South Korea (as Lancaster Archery, Sammick and even Win & Win) ourtsource the crafting of part of their products from countries like china. Lancaster's Galay risers, their limbs and even some limbs from W&W are made in China. Is the iPhone a smartphone of low quality due mass produced overseas? Of couse, there's the problem of the steal of the intellectual property, but to be honest brands as Bosen and Junxing are offering some not-clone bow designs with good quality at very competitive prices.
