Great content. I've always loved the i3 and I wish BMW still made them. Sadly, I'm stuck with my E91 which keeps leaking water into the battery tray. A major bummer since I live in Seattle. Any chance of a video highlighting all the points of water ingress on an E9X chassis? (I've ruled out the sunroof drains since they are bone dry.)
Hard to say. Trunk perimeter seal maybe. Or the two cables exiting the lower portion of the battery tray. Also I think there is a body vent there. If the fender liner is compromised water may be entering. Might not be a bad idea to make a drain hole at the bottom. Drill a hole and use vacuum tube like two inches long hanging out. Best of luck
Thanks, Mike!
Have you driven an i3?
I’ve been a passenger a few times in the dealer courtesy shuttle. Felt great!
I have driven one many times. They are actually a delight. Especially around town. Visibility is great as well.
