I have had a lot of documents I touched up in Photoshop. I never thought of using the Dodge and Burn tools. I have always used the Luminance in the Image > Adjustments > Match Color a few times on a document to get rid of a lot of the faded dirty spots and then the Levels to darken the type. I am looking forward to using this technique. Thanks for another tool in my arsenal. As always, another great tutorial. Thank you.
Excellent. You just solved a great problem for me. Client supplied a photo of his logo(type) but had no idea what font was used and was having a problems matching it. But not anymore. It took less than 2 minutes to resolve the font ID.
Yup! This happens all the time! I worked as a designer for many years in a company where we catered to small businesses and people would always send the worst possible files with almost no info. This was almost 15 years ago so, unfortunately, these techniques were not available. I remember posting in forums asking people if they recognized the font 🤣
your channel is good for someone who wants to buy into Photoshops CC program. Most of the special things you do, like this one, can only be done on Photoshop CC because no other Photoshop offers this.
just brilliant Jesus. Matching fonts has been a problem for me in the past and i had no idea that this facility existed. Thanks ofr an excellent channel.
