This is the problem with not having proper weight divisions in these fights. Amber was almost 10 lbs lighter than Whitney... that is a HUGE difference in boxing.

@@WinterMan. Why is the emphasis on Amber gaining weight, as opposed to Whitney losing it? And by the way, there are no weight classes in these bouts, so that's why you end up with mismatches.
@@jameselder720 all the women are making 140lbs i thought. the men at 170lbs. unless the runner up brackets are not bothering with weight class anymore then idk.

Amazing sportsmanship and high spirits of both women. Both are true champions and great character. No cursing, no attitude. They displayed professionalism, confidence and humbleness. Whitney was better in technique and had reach advantage too. Best of luck to two amazing women for the future!
Agreed. Whitney showed a lot of promise and Amber showed a lot of heart. That was honestly pretty impressive for only their second fight. If they keep going they can only improve.

But I remember in wedding two beautiful women fought eachother one of them was a bout 10 cm shorter but muscular and strong the she slapped the thin taller woman but end of the fight she received some knee kicks I her belly and punched in her temple and knock down I really surprised how the short muscular woman lost and cried her nose was bleeding what do you thing ???? Of corse the taller one kneed in her pennis too
Big improvement in discipline from Whitney. More head movement and some feinting next time and she'll do even better.

I came here from the weigh in video which was hot as hell. I thought why not have a look at the fight, probably won't be much, but damn this was actually a decent scrap. Had a feeling after the weigh in that Whitney would win, she's built like a friggin amazon warrior or something.
Whitney Johns has the height to her advantage, and more reach. While Amber O’Donnell has a lot of endurance. It’s tough when the other competitors has more reach, and the least Amber could do was to just stay long as she can and to avoid getting knocked out. Imagine if this were MMA!? It would’ve been a different result.

Honestly it wasn't as one sided as people are making it out to be. Amber basically got out-thrown in terms of volume but that's pretty much it.
She was fighting air and closing her eyes looking at the canvas, had zero jab and slow af when it was out there, didn't make her pay for coming forward, had zero control of the fight, she got smoked if we're judging the fight itself.

Hardly a fight. Technique was sloppy on both sides no power in those punches zero cuts or damage to either fighter. Props to them for being brave and getting in the ring but it wasnt their ability that got them this fight rather how physically attractive they are. They wont have long careers as fighters guaranteed.
