My mother's Honda actually vibrates the steering wheel when you go out of your lane. Scared the crap out of me the first time it happened! Like a shock collar for drivers. Nah, I'm good!

Hahaha I wouldn't be able to stand the lane centering for more than a few seconds on my FW either. But indeed, the adaptive cruise control is really useful. I'm going to live through you with your adventures in the bluebaru wilderness since my adventures probably won't be as fun, but I still enjoy my wilderness on the paved roads. Sirius is great! Try to avoid the full price plans. They have a $4.99 plan that gives you the good channels. You just have to talk to the rep and convince them that you don't want to pay for the more expensive plans.

Great video. I look forward to learning more about how you're living in your car. I commute 120 miles or so to different hospitals for work 3 days a week, and spend more than I'd like to each month on hotel bills.

Makes sense that figuring out a way to sleep in a vehicle would make a big difference!
I fairly recently got a vehicle with the adaptive cruise and also loved it. (Helps keep me from speeding as well.). Similar feeling about the lane keeping. However, when I am a little sleepy, the lane keeping kept me alert with its annoying feeling. So, there is that.
Yes I do like the little beep when I am tired (vs it taking over), that is helpful when I drift a bit

I got them at Target, they also have at whole foods. I have not yet looked at walmart

I grew up in St Louis (south county) but my parents now live in a rural area south of STL :)

So you grew up pretty close to me. I have a lot of family in the St. Louis area and my brother lived there for years. I lived south east of St. Louis.

Call SXM and say you want to cancel after your 3 free months. Magically, they will change the $20something monthly fee and offer $7. That’s what I did.

The only thing about doing that for me is once you park what's next? You can't just stare at the beauty of it for hours on end in a chair. I lived in Phoenix 23 years and drive a Honda Civic 2008.

I love my Suburu Forester. Never done car camping. Wondering if you get bugs, rodents and reptiles inside the Forester? Watched another video where he talked about having mouse get inside his Prius.
I haven’t yet, but I keep all my food in hard-sided containers, so that should help.
