@@bradleyporter5454 I'm not trying to pick apart your post, If you were to remove the bolts before airing up, it wouldn't hold air. The only reason to remove the bolts would be to dismount the tire.
Did you need a spacer ring with the bfg KO? RACELINE has no idea what tires fit without a spacer.... NO tire mfg has bead thickness listed. I made a couple calls and was basically told " this is the office, tires aren't made here". So the tire company doesn't know, Raceline is clueless, nothing on the forums,.... the whole thing is a complete shit show. Your option appears to be, buy tires, and find out after the fact if you need a spacer or 2 or 3... At thar point you'll know if you need longer bolts too... Such an unnecessary cluster fuck.
Dude I cannot believe how much of a headache this spacer crap is. Ignorantly I had Les Schwab try to mount my BFGs on a brand new set of RT51s to save myself the work. Been back and forth 3 times now, each time the tech saying I need to order ANOTHER set of spacers. Learned I need to handle this in my own shop and holy shit if I have to buy longer bolts I might put these up on marketplace. Glad I'm not the only one who is confused as to why there is no information on this issue.
That’s what the seat ring is for. The race lines aren’t any harder to balance than any other wheels. What makes headlocks hard to balance is the fact that most people chuck 37s or 40s on there and all that rubber so far out causes a lot of discrepancies. You can no longer just stick a 5 gram weight on the barrel to balance them.
Did a bolt get missed on the tightening?

Jeff Perkins you can, but it’s a lot easier to not because you have to take them off to put air into the tire.
