My grandmother was lucky... she worked for 2 separate families that loved her so much. The one was a renowned artist and stayed friends with her all the way up until she died in 2000. When I called her to tell her, she said "I knew it when she didnt answer or call me... Helen would always answer for me" as if my grandma was the rich and important one.

In the books when someone brought up his wife he said it was like going from Antarctica to Hawaii. Hilly was Antarctica cold and bitter, and Celia was warm and loving.
I loved this movie so very much- it broke my heart NUMEROUS times and it also made me see that the good ALWAYS outweighs the ignorant, evil, pathetic and trash!!!
Celia Foote was way ahead of her time. She didn’t see skin color. She saw the person, and their character. She would be so fun to hang out with! Her and Minny!
Jessica is such a great actor. Some actors can only do one kind of character. Their whole career is always that. But the great ones can do all kinds of characters. She’s one of the greats.
She was my absolute favorite character in this whole movie! the purest and sweetest soul! I've known people like her and they're impossible not to completely love.
She is so kind that even offer her money for she can go in the bus, when she thought that she would not work for her. I love this character in the movie 🍿
I loved how her and her husband were such kind and humble people , unlike most of the others in their position . Looks like they developed such a close bond and friendship .
I loved this movie! I felt so sorry for Miss Celia she was so pretty and childlike yet was so naturally real. It must have been hard living in the south for people that were naturally beautiful and joyous including people of all shades. She did not see color see saw a friend but was clueless of the caste system. No matter what it looks like everyone has had their struggles!
It was suppose to be written from a black but blacks not allowed to earn a living , Successful , or gain riches cause there black back in the day mostly women even bd k in the older days all skin color women just like they could not vote women can’t paint or bed a book writer and but whites have to write the book for them for books . Heck sometimes women still get attacked now say we can’t do this or you need to work all a lot money of a nasty man’s world and get yelled at bosses and we still have nasty racist people on earth even online and be immature and use laughing emoji and some plays sims like sims 4 . It’s still scary in the world. My first time that’s a u.s citizen going to Canada the first time that I be de been when my real dads mom was alive before she passed and I never saw her side or his dads side and I never met my real dad rather abs it’s Been 29 years sence my birth . I heard there racist people in Canada but to me I believe American white peoples keep going to Canada living there that could be racist and have kids there which it’s not good cause they are trump supporters and people that’s good people not racist tithe bad ones brain washing them to vote for that evil man which he’s trying to get back in office which it’s really bad and there is a reason why I said this .
and we are the only ones to praise her. all the others cast her out because she was different. she wouldn't have fit in anyway. Most ppl like her have no friends, become isolated with their loved ones, I'm one of them and I relate to her so much, never had a maid, but I'd had similar happenings. I can definitely see why Johnny left that god-awful other woman for Cecilia. She is such a sweet little ball of sunshine. She’s genuinely one of the few people I like in this film. 🖤
This was one of the most beautiful connections … the way these 2 Women brought these characters together was exquisite!! 🥰🥰🥰
the way her husband grabs Minny’s bags in the one scene, is truly just, EVERYTHING
Wait her husband finds out and lets her stay!? I can’t remember I knew she was hiding it from her husband but I can’t remember what happened after 😆
@LadyBloodOath He saw her running away with the groceries and he was like "ma'am, I'm not gonna fire you😂 I knew Ceilia hired a made because you made chicken fried steak and collard greens on the first night" or something like that😂 and he talks about how he's gained weight bc the foods so good and how happy his wife is now❤
@@LadyBloodOath he drives up one day as Minnie’s coming back with groceries and she assumes he’s gonna fire her or do worse but he stops her from running and picks up the groceries she dropped. Said how much happier/ better his wife is since hiring her and both of them want her to stay, not just Celia. He helps her walk into the house and Celia surprises Minnie with a fried chicken meal the 3 of them eat together and it gives Minnie enough courage to leave her abusive ex husband because genuinely good people showed her genuine compassion and care. Celia and her husband are my absolute favorite characters in The Help ❤❤❤

Oh, bless her. Sounds like she had a wonderful friendship with her
Awwwwww, your grandma was important..❤️❤️
My grandmother's mother cleaned house for the white folks. My granny however ended up as head custodian of her local school district. Half granny's kids worked in Public schools as teachers or support staff. Me super Substitute Teacher.
you got me really curious as to who it was haha
❤
They both played those characters so well.
They needed each other and found each other at the right time on the right moment...❤❤❤
The movie is called “The Help” just for ppl who didn’t know

Thank u I looked everywhere for this 😅
Brooke. Thank you for telling us what movie this is.
Thank you I was searching for your comments 😊
Her husband is sooo lucky..she is like a sunshine.
he was for sure! and the change between her and the viper one was huge!
And he's just as much of a darling, they deserve each other 🩷
He was sunshine too. They deserved each other.
Golden retriever x golden retriever energy
In the books when someone brought up his wife he said it was like going from Antarctica to Hawaii. Hilly was Antarctica cold and bitter, and Celia was warm and loving.
I loved this movie so very much- it broke my heart NUMEROUS times and it also made me see that the good ALWAYS outweighs the ignorant, evil, pathetic and trash!!!
Celia Foote was way ahead of her time. She didn’t see skin color. She saw the person, and their character. She would be so fun to hang out with! Her and Minny!
I think she was poor before and poverty doesn’t see color, typically you’re all in it together.
Sounds like you're suffering from white guilt and you hate your race to me
Stop saying that it's progressive thinking not to see skin color the fact that you have to not see it for it not to matter is not progress

I love the friendship Celia and Minny had.
They have such amazing sisterhood chemistry.
they needed each other and didn’t even know it 🥺
Jessica is such a great actor. Some actors can only do one kind of character. Their whole career is always that. But the great ones can do all kinds of characters. She’s one of the greats.
She was my absolute favorite character in this whole movie! the purest and sweetest soul! I've known people like her and they're impossible not to completely love.
I love these 2 together! Such a great movie - but this part of the story is my favorite too. ❤
i thaught they faught didnt they
Plz why did she give her shit to eat plz tell meeeee😢😢😢

She is so kind that even offer her money for she can go in the bus, when she thought that she would not work for her. I love this character in the movie 🍿

That's why they were all jealous of her bc she has what they could never possess, " beautiful soul!"
The way she talks... How softly she talks..❤❤❤😊 it's so nice to watch.. lovely she is..
😊 thank you
Her walking so effortlessly in those heels in grass will never not be so impressive.
The fact she was so loving and welcoming 💛
Minny and Celia's relationship is easily the best part of this movie.

I loved her character so bubbly and sweet. She didn’t deserve to be bullied by those awful women! Shes such A beautiful person ❤
Celia was a true Angel to Minnie in this, I love how she always treated with the most respect she ever could ❤
The Help was an incredible book. It deleves much deeper into her miscarriages than the movie, made me cry.
It was suppose to be written from a black but blacks not allowed to earn a living ,
Successful , or gain riches cause there black back in the day mostly women even bd k in the older days all skin color women just like they could not vote women can’t paint or bed a book writer and but whites have to write the book for them for books .
It was crazy sad and that nasty obgyn she had to put up with was the cherry on top of the crap cake.
She's too precious for this world.
She treated her like a friend ❤
Now, this woman’s character radiates ☀️ sunshine!!!
How can you not love
Her adorable laughter and contagious smile?
I loved how she treated Cellie she was so kind and treated her with so much respect ❤❤❤

Minny and Celia’s friendship make this whole movie extra special☺️💜
Jessica Chastain did stunning work
She really did.
Jess is always amazing! ❤
Love her bubbly character. She plays the role so well.
This made so happy seeing people treat others like equals.

What is name of this movie
@anchalsaini2273 The Help. Its based in a book
Next to the main characters and Scooter, Miss Celia was the fresh light of the dark movie! ❤
It wasn't Scooter it was Skeeter😭
and we are the only ones to praise her. all the others cast her out because she was different. she wouldn't have fit in anyway. Most ppl like her have no friends, become isolated with their loved ones, I'm one of them and I relate to her so much, never had a maid, but I'd had similar happenings. She's the reason this is one of my fave movies ever!❤
Two of my favorite actors. They never disappoint in all their roles! Celia Foote always reminds me alot of a southern style Marilyn Monroe, so sweet, kind, beautiful and vulnerable. Jessica Chastain is amazing. Octavia steals the movie as well she deserves!
Man, that was an awesome book, audio book and movie!!!! ❤
God, she was so wholesome, Celia never saw anyone as less than because she knew how horrible it was to be treated that way herself.
Amen, I grew up poor in the south and so I related to her so so much.
She was the most wholesome and truly respected her “maid.” 😊❤
Jessica Chastain was so wonderful in this movie! She played it perfectly!!!❤
Celia is such a great character. Her relationship with Minny is the high point of this movie...
She's sweet as a peach! Loved her character!
Her just hugging Minnie is... 🥹😭
I love their relationship, they're BOTH equally purely real. ❤❤❤❤❤
Celia is such a sweetheart and Minnie is such a badass Mamma bear🥰
Ain’t she the sweetest thang ever..?❤❤❤❤
Jessica Chastain is freaking amazing as an actress. Of course, Octavia Spencer is also freaking amazing, which is why she won the Oscar for this. I just love all the brilliant performances of this film, and I loved reading the book before I saw the film. Both were awesome! Read the book if you haven’t. :-)
"Minnie dont burn no chicken!"
the way she was so cheery 🥰 warms the soul
I love the blonde's personality....so filled with sunshine ...never looking down at others. There must be somebody like her out there....😊
These two had the best friendship. Her husband was a good man
I love their friendship. They needed each other. ❤
They were the best part of the movie in a sense. This is what happens when there is no prejudice but just people being people ❤️
