I think Adele, without any doubt whatsoever, is the single classiest performer Dave ever had on his show. I think they knew it at the time, too. She was allowed so much more space in the studio and the lighting was much more dramatic and the audience reaction shots were included when we normally get to see a pared down, sparse set-up with the other musical guests and usually no audience shown reacting to the performance. Chills. That what I get when I hear her- she's brilliant.
This woman was born to sing. Just an amazing voice and incredible range. I love her voice.
Im 19, struggling with depression and anxiety. But this song gives me the strength to ignore all of that and look at how beautiful life is and the true gift of friends and family. God bless you Miss Adele and rest in peace legend.
