Sometimes, a song can literally alter the entire world. I don't mean as in each individual, but not as vaguely as the butterfly either. I feel like this song is one of those. I take that back, it's actually the performer that has changed the world. The charisma that she started with as a homely looking young woman has only grown to become more vibrant with her maturity. Her voice is NOT tired. She recorded the album months and months ago! Her voice is fine. It was basically the first time ever performing it to a large audience in that type of room.. The pitch was lowered which is VERY common practise.. And the backing track is stripped back too by the sounds of it... And I'm just putting it out there; Adele gets INSANE stage fright. Imagine the nerves? She drops this huge single and now has to do it live for the first time to live broadcasted audience. Sometimes the pressure makes it difficult for you to perform well... also the sound set-up used can throw you off... if you have a sore throat and still want to perform, you take a risk.. imagine she had a sore throat and cancelled then there would be tons of rumours about her losing her voice after the operation... that would hurt her more.. so maybe she took a risk... maybe she was having a bad day... we all have heard her give excellent performance... this time for one reason or another it wasn't what you'd expect from her...

Her voice is NOT tired. She recorded the album months and months ago! Her voice is fine.
It was basically the first time ever performing it to a large audience in that type of room.. The pitch was lowered which is VERY common practise.. And the backing track is stripped back too by the sounds of it...
And I'm just putting it out there; Adele gets INSANE stage fright. Imagine the nerves? She drops this huge single and now has to do it live for the first time to live broadcasted audience. She definitely gets better and more confident throughout the song and I fucking loved it

I don't get the people defending her. She was off tune many times and lost her breath a few times. She might have a sore throat or something but this performance was not that good. So please don't try to protect her. A bad performance is a bad performance. And of course people expect perfection from Adele all the time because she can deliver a perfect performance.
Exactly! She's not perfect. And a lot of the vocals are long. So it's pretty obvious why she ran out of breath.
Sometimes the pressure makes it difficult for you to perform well... also the sound set-up used can throw you off... if you have a sore throat and still want to perform, you take a risk.. imagine she had a sore throat and cancelled then there would be tons of rumours about her losing her voice after the operation... that would hurt her more.. so maybe she took a risk... maybe she was having a bad day... we all have heard her give excellent performance... this time for one reason or another it wasn't what you'd expect from her...
One thing that I don't understand is why they slowed down the song... maybe it threw her off... because you need the tempo to stay in tune... sometimes poor tempo can throw you off...
I think it's that she's just nervous she might be an amazing singer but she has a humongous stage fright so I will never be disappointed in adele and if u don't like this go watch the music video....
