I BLEACH and DYE NATURAL HAIR AQUA BLUE ion Color Brilliance Brights

- My hair was originally dyed blue with Adore but I felt it wasn't the right blue and pulled ion Color Brilliance Brights in Aqua out of the closet and it turned out lovely, of course my roots were still a bit yellow so mixing blue with yellow you will get green but I like it a lot honestly.
Products used:
Coconut Oil
2 packs of Kaleidocolors Blue by clairol
Salon Care 20 vol developer creme
ion Color Brilliance Brights in Aqua it's semi permanent
Wella Color Charm toner t14
gloves
ion color solutions (locks in hair color)
Proclaim Argan Oil Intense hydrating Masque
Aphogee Keratin 2 minute Reconstructor and Aphogee Balancing Moisturizer
I left out the vaseline b/c I feared it might get on my hair and prevent spots from dyeing properly, it's happened before I'd rather it stain my skin I can always clean it away with rubbing alcohol
Plastic tint bowl and glass bowl
plastic hair clips and plastic applicator brush DO NOT use metal bowls, spoons, forks, knife, applicators etc. don't have them near the dyeing or bleaching process!
I learned that they can alter the bleach and/or hair color causing terrible results such as extremely mushy, stretchy hair and chemical burn
comb, hair scissors and shower cap (more than one)

Beautiful. Loved this video since day one!
Thanks for this. I wish I'd thought to look you up earlier. I'm sitting here doing a deep condition after doing the Sky Blue one. I hadn't bleached, so it's not as bright as yours, but I dig it. I do wanna go brighter next go round so this is a handy guide.
I am addicted to blue dye
I found your video most helpful thanks I will be doing this tommorw !!
I freaking loveeeeee your hair!!!!

Love you!
LOVE IT. I did just as u said.
This color is beautiful on you
Subscribed immediately after the dryer dance lol
You are hilarious, you had me dying at the blow drying scene.
Love this! I like how you put the green dye first then followed it up with the blue. I want to aquafy my hair soon for Christmas!
About to dye my hair this color, I hope it looks as good as yours!!!
That looks good on you. If and or (when) I consider (decide) to color my hair, I will use your tutorial. I wanted mine blue, but idk about the blue you have, more like a Cerulean blue or Midnight Blue. But right now I'm really considering a brown, like either a medium brown or a brown with a reddened tint.
Oh my goodness girl you are so amazing and funny love your hair and personality your SOOO beautiful girlie !!!
Bomb!:)..love it. ..
Love the color Kianna and the video was hilarious..
Ok so clicked on the video t see the results of a color I'm thinking of doing and i didn't know that you'd be a fool!!!!!! Love your dancing and faces New subbie!!!!!
Oki
I LOVED this! you are beautiful and so easy to relate to! I have a bottle of ion Aqua and I was just about to wiffle-waffle, go back to the store to buy Manic Panic turquoise instead (kaching, gotta put out more money for the better product tho), but you made me fall back in love with the ion Aqua. I also didn't know i could use my rubbing alcohol to clean the skin, thank you for the tip!, and additionally, thanks to you, i will get myself some coconut oil. I will be subscribing for more tips!
Lol, that's cute. I like!
Your hair looks SO beautiful!!
Wow such a beautiful color (blue is my favorite color), I'm big chopping in November and will definitely be experimenting with color when I'm natural :)
Some people use a protein filler before dying. I didn't know coconut oil could be used too
You're awesome, and hilariousss!! :D :D I love your hair colour by the wayy!! :D
David Washington the only products you NEED are the color, developer, activator (powder), toner, coconut oil and deep conditioner, everything else is a perk but not everything was necessary
Oh okay, I see kiannaluv21
I love your dance when you were blow drying lol
Lindo >
you're mad funny..... the dance with the blow dryer was my favorite part.
Haha you are funny! Great colour xD
3:51 had me n my sis laughing! Lmao but love the color that will definitely b my next color for my hair
Omg you're so funny! Glad I found this video.
Do you think it's necessary for me to bleach my hair? (For the first time) I wanna go light brown
No, because the bleach will turn you a nasty orange, I recommen you a light brown dye.
May m Actually, my hair went yellowish blonde then I toned it before dying it.
***** okay great, I hope you get your perfect color!
Just dyed my blonde ends this color and I love it! BUT...I dyed it tonight and so far, I've had to wash my hair 7 times for the water to eventually run clear. It still doesn't but I got tired of washing my hair. I washed it 3 times initially and then put on a shirt and after an hour I was like oh shit my shirt is blue. So I washed it again 4 more times. Hopefully all the extra dye is finally out or at least will be int he next 1 or 2 washes oof!
You are beautiful.
Thank you so much love, that made me smile :)
Anytime. xo
HOW DID YOU HAVE YOUR CURLS AFTER BLEACHING,
STRONG HAIR
Does It wash out eventually and fade well? I know the pink and lavender fades well into either a silver or peach but do you have to rebleach your hair after your done with the colour? or can you simply wash it out after a month or so
do you mix the developer with the color after your done bleaching the hair ?
do u add developer with the blue?
Did the color stay for awhile? (I may dye my hair this color)
You're hilarious. 😂
What color and brand foundation do you use?
Your hair is so bomb! I have a question, about 2 months ago I bleached my hair and added the aqua color to my hair (just the back portion,) but instad of blue it turned green. Can I just go back and put in the toner to have it turn blue, or do I have to bleach some more? Thank you in advance!!!
It turned green because your hair after bleaching was yellow 😩 so blue + yellow = green (I'm sure you know) I would bleach it and use a toner to get rid of the yellow then dye it because your roots have grown out so they'll be more yellow and the green should have faded a lot by now so it'll be covered a lot like mine was
I'm honestly not sure if toner would do the trick it MIGHT but that's just what I would
OMG your hair is going to fall out!!! Girl go to a professional before you are BALDHEADED!!!!
kyndallgirl81 lol it probably won't fall out assuming she's only bleached and dyed it once like I did and MANY others, a professional would HAVE to lighten it just like me to apply the color she wants. :)
wow...it just seems like a lot of harsh chemicals being applied too closely together. I'd be scared. My hair is already hella dry, I'd be too afraid it would pop off......like it has done before :(
Hi-five for you guys who are brave enough to do this!!!!!! lol
I need so much help, I used color ion brilliance in blue on my bleached hair and the color did not take AT ALL. I ended up just dying my hair with my normal color which is splat, but ive heard really good things about how the color stays in with color ion. I mixed the blue with some cheap conditioner and once again my hair was freshly bleached. Thx!
I've heard that Ion is more of a permanent dye, so if you're ready for that commitment, go for it. It might be that you didn't use an opaque white conditioner, or you might just have yo put the dye in without diluting it first.
But that big ole list of products looks like it'll eat my bank account, lol.
how long did you leave the developer and bleach on?
1 hour
I love your lip piercing. What is it called ?
It's a Ashley piercing. ^
Unicorn jacky an*
Update on my channel about my sister
How damaged did your hair get after I'm interested in doing my bangs aqua
Your hair wont get damaged if its your first time bleaching your hair. If ita your first time I'd recommend using a 30 vol developer. You can keep it in for up to 60 mins (no more than that) but a tip for not drying you hair out. Put coconuts oil in your hair 20 mins before bleaching and leave the oil in your hair while bleaching you'll get a more even bleaching and your hair will be less dry. Always bleach your hair with dirty hair. It sounds gross but if you want a head full of hair dont wash it the same day or the day before lol hope this helps
Nice. You was reminding me of the Lola-type advertising ads with the blow dryer (wind blowing your hair) in the beginning, and then was getting down during the second one...lol! So I never bleached my hair before the Kaleidocolors come in other colors also right (for example red?) You used the blue because that was the look your were going for, which was very flattering on you. Thanks for sharing.
i love u i can't with u ha lmao
"if you see this, tell my mom I love her" lmao.... @kiannaluv21
Laughing my ass off when she was dancing with the blow dryers
what dye do you use hun?
Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!! Tooo funnnnyyy!!!
Lmfao
Dont like the look.
Thanks for watching! :)
